Staying in Seoul? Three November events you can reach by subway
A Korean rice-liquor tasting fair, a rice-dessert market and a show of 20th-century master photographers — all indoors, all a walk from a subway station.
You do not have to leave Seoul for a November event. All three of these are on the subway network and indoors, so a cold or rainy day will not spoil them.

1
K-Rice Festa (Korean Rice & Liquor Festival)
K-라이스페스타
27–29 November at KINTEX in Goyang: brewers from all over Korea pouring makgeolli, yakju, cheongju and rice spirits for free tasting. It is free with online pre-registration, and many visitors found it pleasantly uncrowded.
No one mentions English support, but tasting needs very little language. Bring your passport — ID is checked for tastings. Walk from Daehwa station on Line 3 or from KINTEX station.

2
Gyeonggi Rice Dessert Festa
경기미 디저트 페스타
21–22 November at Suwon Messe, right beside Suwon Station: a free fair of breads, rice cakes and sweets made with Gyeonggi rice, this year paired with a rice-tteokbokki festival. A lot of it is made with rice flour, which makes it a useful stop if you avoid wheat — but ask, as gluten-free status varies by maker.
Suwon Station is on Line 1 and the Suin-Bundang line, so you can combine it with a visit to Suwon's fortress. An hour or so is plenty.

20th Century Masters of Photography: When Light Stops Time
20세기 사진 거장전 - 빛, 시간을 멈추다
Opening on 20 November: seventeen masters of 20th-century photography — Henri Cartier-Bresson, Tina Modotti, William Klein among them — shown as original darkroom prints, not reproductions. It is between City Hall and Gwanghwamun, so it fits into a day in central Seoul.
The show has not opened yet, so there are no visitor accounts. Whether captions will be in English has not been announced, but photographs need little translation.
