Two November nights of fireworks over the sea: Busan and Pohang
Busan on 7 November, Pohang on 19–21 November. Both are free, and at both the hard part is not the show but getting home afterwards.
Two of Korea's big fireworks festivals both fall in November this year — Pohang's has always been in May or June and moves to November for the first time. They are two weeks apart, so pick whichever fits your trip. Either way it is a November night by the sea: dress warmly.

Busan Fireworks Festival
부산불꽃축제
An hour of fireworks choreographed to music, with the Gwangandaegyo bridge as the stage — and what visitors say most is simply how huge it is. Gwangalli Beach is the most crowded place to watch; the Haeundae side, Igidae and Jangsan mountain are calmer alternatives.
Metro Line 2 is the answer. Afterwards the nearest stations close or the lines are enormous, and the people who walked a stop or two got home first. Reserved seats for international visitors are sold on NOL World.

Pohang International Fireworks Festival
포항국제불빛축제
An international fireworks competition, with teams from abroad taking turns over the water — past visitors found it better than they expected. This year's exact dates, venue and transport plan have not been officially announced yet; the Korea Tourism Organization lists 19–21 November at Yeongildae Beach.
Cars were the biggest problem. If you drive, park deliberately 20–30 minutes' walk away and you will get out much sooner. Pohang KTX station is some way from the coast, so you need a bus or taxi from there.

Want more? The Cheongsong Apple Festival in North Gyeongsang (4–8 November) has fireworks every night too — it is a mountain valley, so evenings are very cold.
