Yundon

윤돈 Don here reads as short for donkkaseu, the pork cutlet the house serves; the posts do not say what Yun stands for.

Compiled from 8 blog posts read in fullSources →

A pork-cutlet shop on the ground floor of the Seoul Forest AK Valley office complex near Ttukseom Station. It serves loin, cheese and combination cutlets, katsudon and ebidon, plus udon and cold soba, and many posts pair a cutlet with a mini soba or udon. In 2026 posts the loin cutlet is 10,500 won and the combination 12,500 won, so a meal runs just over 10,000 won. We read 17 posts dated 20 July 2025 to 18 September 2026; 8 describe a visit here. Six were set aside because they concern a different Yundon in Suwon, a singer's nickname, or another restaurant in the same building.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Five posts said the prices felt easy on the wallet, one calling 10,500 won reasonable given current prices. None called it expensive.
  2. Four posts called the coating crisp; one noted the cutlet is served on a wire rack so it stays crisp. Two said it was not greasy and two said the meat was thick.
  3. Three posts said the room is small and four said it is clean. Two mentioned a long single-row table that suits solo diners, and one noted the high ceiling.
  4. Two posts said there is a wait at lunch. One went in the afternoon to avoid it and found only one other table; a weekly regular said the place is full around 1 p.m. but the line moves quickly. One post said the cutlet is fried to order and took about 13 minutes.

  1. Three posts came from repeat customers: one goes weekly with a colleague, one calls it a regular spot, and one returned with her husband to a place she used to frequent from a former job.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Getting inside

The address puts it on the ground floor and one post repeated that, but nobody described the entrance from experience.

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we do not know, not that access is poor.

No post says whether the toilet is inside the shop or a shared one in the building.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 11 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Prices have gone up. Posts from July to September 2025 list loin 10,000, cheese 11,000, combination 12,000, katsudon 9,500 and cold soba 8,000 won; July and September 2026 posts list 10,500, 11,500, 12,500, 10,000 and 9,000 won. We only know the rise happened between September 2025 and July 2026.
  • Three posts give the same hours, weekdays 11:00 to 20:00; two add a 14:30 to 17:30 break and two say it is closed on weekends. All three copied an info box rather than reporting what they saw. One post adds that it closes on public holidays. An auto-generated post claiming daily 11:00 to 21:00 with Sundays off also had the wrong address, so we ignored it.
  • Only one post gave directions: a five-minute walk from exit 4 of Ttukseom Station. Nobody mentioned buses.
  • Three posts went with work colleagues and one with a husband. None went with friends, family or children, so we cannot say how it suits those outings.
  • Two posts give the same phone number, 02-465-0104. Nobody said whether it takes reservations.
