소랑호젠 Sorang hojen is Jeju dialect for 'in order to love' (sorang = love, hojen = meaning to) — the kitchen builds Italian dishes on ingredients from Jeju.

Soranghojen is an Italian restaurant using Jeju ingredients, on the ground floor of the Seoul Forest Forhue building right by exit 2 of Seoul Forest station. Pastas run 21,000–26,000 won, pizzas 19,000–29,000 won, and the black-pork French rack 39,000 won; most posts describe two people sharing three or four dishes. The most-ordered dishes were the carpaccio pizza (14 posts) and the bisque rose pasta (13). You order by the QR code on the table, and several posts describe cloth partitions hanging between tables. Most writers came after seeing it on chef Lee Won-il's YouTube consulting show. We read 30 posts from 9 July to 4 October 2026; 25 describe a visit. What sets it apart
- This is a book-ahead place. Thirteen posts say they reserved (Naver or CatchTable), and two watched walk-ins being turned away. One says a 10,000-won deposit is taken and deducted from the bill; one was told a table counts as a no-show 20 minutes after the slot. One writer did get in as a walk-in.
- Tables are time-limited. Four posts mention it: three say 90 minutes, one says 80 minutes on Friday to Sunday and holidays with no limit Monday to Thursday. One noticed the 5 pm guests leaving around 6:30.
- Ordering is by the QR code at each seat; twelve posts say so. Two found the QR menu, with photos, easier than the paper one, and one notes you can also simply tell a server.
- The kitchen is open to the room; ten posts mention it, two noting bar seats in front of it. One watched staff climb into the extractor hood to clean at the end of lunch; another wished the cooks wore masks or caps.

- It is not a big room. Five posts say so; one guessed it seats seven or eight parties, another that tables are set at an angle to fit. Two posts mention a back room for about six, which one was told carries a minimum spend of around 150,000 won.
- Seven posts put it one or two minutes' walk from exit 2 of Seoul Forest station on the Suin-Bundang line, closer than Seongsu station. One walked past it for lack of a big sign; another notes the door is on the side of the building, so you need not go through the lobby.
- Three posts found the seasoning strong, mostly about the anchovy-jeotgal pasta; one said it was not salty.

Four posts came by car, and three of them parked in the building's basement garage; two called it roomy, one noted women-only bays. The first 90 minutes are free in every account, but the rate after that is given as both 1,000 and 500 won per 10 minutes, all in copied notices, so we can't say which is current.

It is at street level, not below; three posts say it is on the ground floor.
Nobody wrote about a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller; that is unknown, not absent. One post took the lift and came in by a corridor door, another used the street-side entrance, so there seem to be two ways in.
Only one post mentions the toilet: the code is posted on the way out through the left-hand door. Whether it is inside the restaurant or separated by sex is not confirmed by any visit (separate toilets appear only in a copied amenities list).

What we do not know
- No post describes queuing; one arrived at 5 pm on a weekday and walked straight in. Since nearly everyone had booked, we don't know how long a walk-in would wait.
- Eleven visiting posts give the same hours — 11:30–21:30 with a 15:00–17:00 break and last orders at 14:00 and 20:30 — but all are copied info blocks. No visiting post mentions a closing day.
- Prices appear to have risen: an article dated 2021 listed the French rack at 29,000 won, the caprese at 15,000 won and hours of 12:00–22:00, against 39,000, 17,000 and 11:30–21:30 in 2026 posts. That article isn't a visit, so we didn't count it, and we don't know when the change happened. One post found it not cheap.
- One post says curtains between tables went up after the YouTube episode, another that the consultant's changes were in place; every post we read describes the room after that. The restaurant has not moved — one link list gives unit 108, every other post unit 110.
- No post describes a visit with a child. One saw high chairs and was told there are only two chairs and two sets of kids' tableware; other mentions come from Naver Place photos.
- One post brought its own wine. The 'first bottle free' corkage line is a copied notice, and one writer only guessed corkage was allowed from a neighbouring table's wine.
- Six posts copy the same phone number, 0507-1380-1046. One writer phoned to ask whether they could come and booked that way; the rest reserved through Naver or CatchTable.
