An ochazuke shop half a floor below street level on Wangsimni-ro 10-gil in Seongsu-dong. There are only three mains: the Otsu-don bowl at 14,500 won, braised pork belly at 13,500 won and pollock roe at 10,000 won, plus a miso mackerel side at 4,500 won. You order at a kiosk by the door, eat the topping over mixed-grain rice like a rice bowl, then pour broth from a kettle over what is left; several posts mention instructions printed on every table. We read 30 posts dated 15 August to 1 October 2026: 26 describe a visit, and one was about somewhere else and was set aside.

What sets it apart

- Waiting depends on the hour. Three posts waited: 20 minutes on a weekday evening, people queueing at the door, and a short line even at opening time. Five walked straight in: a weekend at 1 pm with two or three seats left, a Sunday at 3 pm, ten minutes before opening as the first customer, just after 6 pm, and a weekend at 5 pm with the place to themselves.

Ten posts say you go down to reach it: half a floor down, a semi-basement. It is not described as dark: four posts mention window seats or daylight, and one said it did not feel like a basement at all.
No post mentions wheelchairs, strollers, a step at the door or a lift. Three posts mention stairs down. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it is inaccessible.
Both posts that mention the toilet say it is outside the shop, across from the entrance, and shared by men and women.

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Many posts say reservations are taken only for 11 am and 5 pm, but nearly all of them copy the notice. Only one post actually booked.
- Sixteen of the seventeen posts that give hours say 11:00 to 20:30 (last orders 19:50); one says it opens at 11:30. Most copy the listing, and two say first-hand there is no afternoon break. One post about a March 2026 visit reported Tuesday-to-Sunday hours with a 3-5 pm break from hearsay; it matches no other post and we did not count it. The phone number given is 0507-1366-5329.
- On price, two posts called it reasonable or normal for Seongsu, and none called it expensive; a meal is one main at 10,000 to 14,500 won. Note that four posts disclose sponsorship, five appeared on a single day (19 September), and three repeat the same praise with no prices or times; from those we counted only dishes and companions.
- Opinions are not uniform. Three posts say they went back, while one found it merely fine, would not return, and called the service reserved. Another liked the firm rice but said their companion did not.
