A cafe on Sangwon 1-gil in Seongsu, in the side streets between Ttukseom Station and Seoul Forest. People come for the spoon-from-the-top signature drinks (brown-cheese 'Stepost Brown', black-sesame 'Stepost Black', fig-and-cold-brew 'Fig Noir', all 7,000 won) and for the French toast with ice cream (12,000 won). The room inside is small; the terrace out front is the bigger seating area. Prices went up around November 2025 — earlier posts list the Brown at 6,500 won and the French toast at 10,000. We read 30 posts from September 2025 to October 2026; 24 are first-hand visits, 3 were about other places, and 3 were multi-venue lists.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The terrace is the heart of the place: 20 of the 24 visits mention sitting or looking at the outdoor seats. In winter it's enclosed with clear vinyl sliding panels so it works like an indoor room; one summer visitor sat outside because the staff ran air-conditioning out there too. Several posts mention the mirror by the entrance as a photo spot.
- Inside is tight: seven posts call the room small or the tables close together, one calls it roomy, and one can't decide. Seating is a mix of bar stools, a sofa and large shared tables. On comfort it's two to two — two found the sofa comfortable, two said the seats weren't — and two more only noted hard high bar stools or low tables and chairs.
- There's a time limit when the cafe is full. Three posts mention it; a November 2025 post specifies two hours.
- Four posts from October–November 2025 mention a Naver receipt-review promotion; two say it gave a mini terrine and a Stepost badge. Keep that in mind when reading posts from that period.
1 more
- Six posts describe it as quiet — it sits a block off the main streets, and several mention playlist videos projected on the wall and music from a good speaker setup. Others found it packed on weekends and afternoons: a full terrace, and all the sofa seats taken at 3 p.m. on a Friday.

There's no parking at the cafe. Ten posts touch on parking, nearly all copying 'no parking'; one actually drove and used the private lot at Seongsu Arts Hall three minutes' walk away (first 30 minutes free, then 1,000 won an hour).

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | 1 of 23 posts |
Only one post mentions the floor from experience — ground level, tucked off the main road and not visible from it. The address also says ground floor; no other post addresses it.
No post says whether there's a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. Posts only mention a sliding door and, in winter, sliding vinyl panels on the terrace. Nobody covered it.
Two posts disagree on the restroom: one (November 2025) says it's at the back inside, through a door on the right; another (December 2025) didn't use it but guessed it was outside from watching people leave. No one says whether it's separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices went up between October and November 2025: the Brown went from 6,500 to 7,000 won and the French toast from 10,000 to 12,000. A brown-cheese croffle at 9,500 won (October 2025) and a plain 'croffle' at 8,000 won (2026) may or may not be the same item. Only one post called it expensive — a 12,000-won French toast that arrived after a 15-minute wait in poor shape.
- One post (a weekday lunch in September 2026) waited over 15 minutes for the French toast, which arrived with the ice cream melting and the banana blackened; that writer said they wouldn't go back. No other post mentions how long food took.
- No one wrote about queuing to get in. Several found it busy — one left early to free up a seat — but everyone got a table. That doesn't mean there's never a wait, only that nobody reported one.
- One post describes actually walking from Ttukseom Station (about three minutes, past the Hanyang Hyundai apartments). 'Three to five minutes from Ttukseom exit 5' appears in many posts but as copied info; one post instead says five minutes from Seongsu Station exit 3.
- Five posts came as a couple, three with friends, one by car. None came with children. One post saw a customer's dog on the terrace; otherwise 'pets allowed' appears only as copied listing info.
- Nineteen posts give opening hours, all copied from listings: 18 say 11:30–20:00 with last order at 19:30, one says opening at 11:00. Closures are listed as Lunar New Year and Chuseok days (six posts) or none (three); a single post from 28 September 2026 says closed every Tuesday. One post isn't enough to tell whether that's a new rule.
- Seven posts list the phone number 070-7757-9057. No post says whether the cafe takes reservations.
- More than ten posts say actor Byeon Woo-seok visited, all based on his Instagram photos; we didn't treat it as evidence. One December 2025 post discloses it was sponsored. One auto-generated list post attached another cafe's menu and hours (Haerye latte, churro donut, 11:30–22:00) to this entry by mistake.
