SUSHI DOKI

스시도키 Seusi Doki Sushi Doki: 'sushi' plus 'Doki', a word none of the posts explain.

Compiled from 27 blog posts read in fullSources →

Sushi Doki is a sushi omakase counter on the second floor of a building right outside Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station. There is one menu: a chef's course served piece by piece across the bar. Posts from 2026 put lunch at 60,000 won and dinner at 130,000 won; before November 2025 it was 50,000 and 100,000. Weekday lunch starts at 12:00 and 13:30, dinner once at 18:30. The run of the course barely changes from post to post: steamed egg, monkfish-liver rice wrapped in laver, a fried-shrimp-and-monkfish-liver roll, lean and fatty tuna, cold udon, tamago and yuzu sherbet, plus an encore piece of your choice at the end. We read 30 posts from 22 September 2025 to 30 September 2026; 27 describe an actual visit. Two were about other places and one was a list of five Seongsu sushi bars, so we did not count them.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Eight posts say the seating is bar counter only. Five put it at about ten seats, three at eight. Writers who counted the room that day saw three parties (two posts) or eight diners (two posts), so each seating is small. The one solo diner said the counter made eating alone easy.
  2. Fourteen posts say it is a short walk from Ttukseom Station, mostly one to four minutes from Exit 7.
  3. Ten of the posts that say who they went with were couples: husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends. Many mention the bear candle the chef puts in the closing sherbet for a birthday or anniversary; one couple got one simply because everyone else at the counter had one.
  4. Eight posts say they left full, one calling it the first omakase that ever filled them up. Several note the chef asks mid-course whether to cut the rice. Only one self-described big eater said it did not fill him.

  1. Nineteen posts say you get a lot for the money. One gave value a lower score than taste. Prices rose in November 2025: posts from September and October 2025 list 50,000 won for lunch and 100,000 for dinner, one copying a notice of an increase from 15 November; 2026 posts list 60,000 and 130,000.
  2. Seven posts describe it as quiet; diners keep their voices down and conversation is easy.
  3. Five posts praise the service: plating adjusted for a left-hander, cooled miso soup swapped for hot, hand warmers handed out on a cold day. One post passed on a CatchTable review calling a young server curt, though the chef was kind; another was put out by a slow glass of warm water.

Parking

1 posts say you can park; 2 say you cannot. We leave the disagreement standing rather than picking a side.

Posts saying you can park1 of 27 posts
Posts saying you cannot2 of 27 posts

Only one post managed to park at the building: after phoning to say they were late, they were given the single outdoor space behind it. Two posts say there is no parking and one calls it a struggle. Other drivers used public lots nearby and walked. Many info boxes copy 'no parking'; we did not count those.

Getting inside

Second floor15 of 27 posts
Lift to the floor6 of 27 posts

Fifteen posts describe going up to the second floor. The basement holds Daylit, a restaurant with its own queue, so the crowd at the door is usually theirs, not Sushi Doki's. The outside sign is small, and one writer got slightly lost.

Six posts say they took the lift up to the second floor.

No one mentions a step at the door or arriving with a wheelchair or pushchair. Some took the lift, but that tells us nothing about the threshold; nobody wrote about it.

No one describes the toilet. One info box copies 'toilet inside the building, separate for men and women', so we do not know whether it is inside the restaurant.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No one reports queuing; it runs on reservations and everyone starts together. One writer expected to be let in early for a 13:30 slot and ended up standing outside until the hour.
  • Posts differ on whether you must order a drink. A February 2026 dinner post says a drink (alcoholic or not) is required at dinner; a lunch post says it is not. Two posts are not enough to tell whether lunch and dinner simply differ.
  • Corkage is unclear. A March 2026 post brought champagne using a corkage-free coupon from CatchTable; a May 2026 post says corkage for sake is 20,000 won; an October 2025 post only guessed it used to be free.
  • Opinions on size split: three posts call the room small or the seats close together, one calls it spacious.
  • Two posts found the seasoning strong and two found it just right; one of the first pair says the chef cut back the soy as soon as asked.
  • All opening hours come from copied info boxes. Six posts up to mid-May 2026 give 12:00-22:00 daily; posts from late June 2026 give 12:00-21:00 with a 15:00-17:00 break. One lists a 20:00 close and one a 09:00 opening. Courses actually start at 12:00 and 13:30 for lunch and 18:30 for dinner, with a single 12:00 lunch at weekends according to one post. No one mentions a closing day.
  • We do not know the current Sunday price. An October 2025 post said Sundays had a single 100,000-won price for lunch and dinner; no 2026 post mentions it. Drink prices appear once each: 12,000 won for a Suntory draft and 85,000 won for a bottle of sake.
  • Six posts give the phone number 0507-1403-3719; one gives 0507-1406-8788 and another 010-4374-3719, the former alongside a wrong address. Everyone booked through CatchTable or Naver; no one booked by phone.
  • One post, from January 2026, discloses sponsorship. A September 2026 writer was disappointed to learn after booking that the restaurant had run a blogger promotion. We found no batch of templated promotional posts.
