Seoul Yukgoldang

서울육골당 Yukgoldang reads as 'house of meat and bone'; one post notes the Hanja sign alone tells you it serves broths simmered from meat bones.

Compiled from 10 blog posts read in fullSources →

A small Singaporean-style soup-and-rice shop on the ground floor of Wangsimni-ro 14-gil, a short walk from Ttukseom Station exit 1. The core is galbi onban (pork-rib bak kut teh in a clear peppery broth, 11,000 won) and sangye onban (chicken leg-quarter soup, 9,500 won); you order at a kiosk and choose rice in the soup, rice on the side, or noodles. Four posts list kkakdugi and cabbage kimchi as the sides. We read 16 posts from July 2025 to July 2026; three were about a nearby café and were set aside, and 12 describe actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Ordering is by kiosk: six posts say so, one adding that Apple Pay works. The meal menu is short — rib or chicken, then rice or noodles — which one writer found made choosing easy.
  2. There is room to eat alone: six posts describe the seating, repeatedly mentioning single seats and a counter along the wall; one counted two four-person tables, one two-person table and the wall counter. It is not big — four posts call it small or cramped, and one warns seats can run out at the weekday lunch peak.
  3. It is close to the subway: four posts put it one to three minutes' walk (about 100 m) from Ttukseom Station exit 1.
  4. No post calls it expensive; five say it is good value for Seongsu, and the 9,500-won chicken soup was quoted at the same price in four posts from December 2025 to July 2026. A table that ordered the three-person set says the owner added an extra crepe roll.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Where it is

Map showing where Seoul Yukgoldang is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

It is close to the subway: four posts put it one to three minutes' walk (about 100 m) from Ttukseom Station exit 1.

Getting inside

The address says ground floor, but no post describes the entrance level from experience.

No one mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller; that means we don't know, not that it is fine or impossible.

No post says where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 11 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No one reports actually waiting. One writer guessed there is usually a line because the room is small, but got the last table, and noted the single seats were free. Another arrived around 5:50 pm on a weekend to find the rib dishes sold out.
  • Opening hours come from info lines that three posts copied into their headers. All three agree on 11:00-20:30 on weekdays and closed on Saturdays; two give a 16:00-17:00 break and one a 20:00 last order. Sunday is disputed: one says 12:00-18:00, another 11:00-20:30.
  • Company doesn't cluster: one post each went alone, with a former coworker, as a group of three, and with a boyfriend. Many posts call it good for solo dining, but only one writer says they actually went alone.
  • Two posts give the phone number 0507-1488-0572, but none says whether reservations are taken.
  • The full price list comes from one December 2025 post; side, drink and deboning-charge prices are not confirmed elsewhere. Claims that a celebrity recommends the place are hearsay and were not counted.
