SANDOS
산도스 Sandoseu From 'sando', Japanese shorthand for a sandwich — the shop makes katsu sandos on ciabatta.
Compiled from 12 blog posts read in fullSources →
A New York–style katsu sando shop one floor below street level at Seoulsup 2-gil 6, on the café street by Seoul Forest. Aged Spanish Duroc pork-neck katsu goes into naturally leavened ciabatta, and sets come with fries, a truffle dip and yuja carrot slaw. You order from a kiosk built in at each seat and eat at bar counters, or take it out to the park. A single OG sando set was 15,600 won, a single White Chive 17,800 won, and the sets for two 34,700 and 38,900 won, drinks extra. We read 30 posts from October 2024 to October 2026; 13 of them describe actually eating here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Five posts say you order and pay on a kiosk set into the wall at your seat; two note it offers several languages.
- Two posts say every seat is at a bar counter, with no regular tables, facing the wall. One warns that the back room is the same, so groups may find it awkward. Two writers went alone.
- Four posts say most of the other diners, or those beside them, were foreigners; one notes the owner served them in fluent English.
- Five posts call the owner or staff kind and say why: one writer was helped down the stairs with a pet stroller, another was told by the owner to have a look at the restroom before leaving.
1 more
- Three posts say it isn't greasy-tasting, crediting the hot sauce or arugula.

Parking
1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

One post says from experience that the shop has no parking; both writers who drove used the Ttukseom Yusuji public lot, where an October 2026 post says fees rose on 1 October. 'No parking' lines in six other posts are copied info blocks, so we did not count them.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | 9 of 12 posts |
|---|---|
| Step-free access | yes 0 · no 1 (of 12 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 3 of 12 posts |
Nine posts describe going down stairs to a basement or half-basement shop; one mentions a very heavy door, another says the small sign is easy to miss. Three say the front is glazed and lets in daylight despite being half underground.
Nine posts confirm it is below ground; none mention an upper floor or a private room.
The way in is down stairs. One writer with a pet stroller says it would have been hard without the owner's help. No post mentions a ramp or lift — that means nobody wrote about one, not that there isn't one.
Three posts say the restroom is inside the shop, right by the entrance, stocked with hand soap, lotion and a Dyson dryer. Nobody says whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 16 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

| 2025-11-15 | 4 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Twelve posts from 10–17 November 2025 repeat the same phrases in the same order — the U-shaped bar, '192 hours of wet aging', the purple-and-red cups, 'worth the wait' — with no prices or real menu names. We treat them as templated promotion and did not count them as visits, nor their claims about queues or service.
- Only two posts mention waiting, at different times: in April 2025 it was 'still quiet' soon after opening; in September 2025 a writer found a line at opening the day after a YouTube feature. No one recorded how long they waited.
- One post says it's walkable from Ttukseom or Seoul Forest station; another says it's 'quite a walk' in from Seoul Forest station. Nobody timed it.
- Few posts say who they came with: two alone, one with a partner, two by car. None mention friends or family.
- Opening hours changed over time. Two posts from April–May 2025 list 11:30–20:00 (last order 19:30); four posts from July 2025 on list 12:00–24:00 daily, two with last order at 23:30. No post names a regular closing day; a 17–25 July 2025 closure was a one-off notice.
- Most prices come from April–August 2025. The October 2024 figures (White Chive set 18,800 won, Vodka sando 14,800 won) were for a different set format, so we can't tell whether prices went up or down. No 2026 post gives a price.
- Four posts give the same phone number, 0507-1311-8010. Reservations go through CatchTable or Naver; one post says CatchTable takes up to six people in 30-minute slots.
