Room Temperature is a vegan, organic brunch room on the ground floor of a house in a residential lane off Seongsu's main strip. It is ten to eighteen minutes on foot from either Seongsu or Seoul Forest station — not close — and one writer identifies it as the second room opened by a Seongsu wine bar. Nothing on the menu contains meat: a small pizza laid with leek, a French omelette, cold toasts on sourdough, an oven-puffed pancake, Greek yoghurt and a pasta or two, with desserts made from rice flour and low-sugar sweetener. One writer notes the prosciutto sandwich can be swapped to mushroom to keep it vegan. Coffee is filter, from a named local roaster, with decaf from the same beans, and you can drink wine by the glass in the middle of the day. There is no dinner service — five in the afternoon on weekdays, six at weekends, closed Mondays. Dogs are welcome, and there is a terrace in the back yard.   The most-ordered plate here: a French omelette rolled long like a banana, finished with a red crisp-chilli oil that four writers single out as the thing that makes it. Five call the egg soft or cloud-like. One found it a touch salty.

  ₩10,000, and **the plate looks bare on its own** — two writers say it vanishes in a few bites and both tell you to add the salad and the sourdough (one prices the extra sourdough at ₩5,000).

  **Squeezed to order.** Orange or grapefruit; two writers ordered both to compare and **both preferred the orange**. Three arrived from a run and started here — one was reminded of a juice bar she knew in the States.

  ₩6,500, and **it is a small glass** — one writer meant to share it three ways, thought it stingy, then saw the price and made peace with it.

  A pancake puffed in the oven, topped with mascarpone cream, maple syrup, blueberries and violet cornflowers. **It is neither the thin kind nor a soufflé** — one writer likens the texture to steamed egg. Three say it is not too sweet, and the writer on her third visit names this and the porridge as what to order.

  ₩14,000. One post gives both ₩14,000 and ₩10,000 in the same article — the ₩10,000 matches the omelette directly above it, so it reads as a slip. Another post confirms ₩14,000. **It once took about fifteen minutes to arrive.**

  Sourdough under slow-cooked cherry tomatoes, stracciatella and basil — served cold. One writer notes the skins were peeled one by one; another that the sourdough made for a toast that isn't crisp, and liked it the better for that. A third remembers the tomatoes and not the toast.

Getting inside

Nobody checked whether there is a step at the door. Across nineteen posts the words wheelchair, threshold, ramp and pushchair do not appear once; neither do stairs or lift. The address says ground floor, so there is probably nothing to climb — but that is the address talking, not anyone who went. Whether there is a lip at the entrance, or a change of level on the way out to the terrace, is not in our material; all we know is that you order inside and go out to the right of the door. If you are coming in a wheelchair or with a pram, ring first.

When the posts appeared

What we do not know

• Not one post mentions the lavatory. The word does not appear once in nineteen posts — whether it is inside or out in the building, whether it is divided by sex, how many cubicles. In a room of nine or ten seats it may simply be that few people use it and so nobody writes it down, but that is our guess, not a finding.
• The word "ground floor" comes from the address. Seventeen of the nineteen posts contain it, and in every case it is the address line or the check-in widget at the foot of the page. No writer records the floor from their own eyes, and none mentions a basement or an upper storey. Several describe a residential lane where you would not expect a cafe at all, which reads as street-level entry — but we did not confirm it.
• "Dogs allowed" is mostly copied. The line sits in the information block of eight posts and not one writer brought a dog. Only one saw one: a March 2025 post signs off with a photograph of another customer's dog. Another simply urges you to bring yours. With nine or ten seats inside and a separate terrace, it is worth asking which of the two a dog is welcome in before you go — no post says.
• The hours changed in the summer of 2025, and the old ones still outnumber the new. Seven posts from October 2024 to May 2025 give Wednesday to Sunday, eleven to six, closed Monday and Tuesday. Six from August 2025 to February 2026 give Tuesday to Friday, ten to five, weekends ten to six, closed Monday only. The two periods do not overlap, so this is a change, not a disagreement, and our table carries only the later one. Seven posts say it closes on Tuesdays — and all seven predate May — so publishing that number would turn readers away on a day the place is open. A post from the soft-opening in October 2024 describes Friday and Saturday running until eight with a break from three to five; no post since mentions a break. Either way there is no dinner service. No post records a last order.
• The plates are not generous, and some writers planned around it. A party of three who came from a run read the reviews first and ordered "three portions that eat like four", adding that the omelette alone would have looked thin and telling you to add the salad and the sourdough. Another regretted skipping the salad when the omelette went in a few bites. One found the pressed juice small for three to share. Some prices sit correspondingly low — ten thousand won for the omelette, four for the filter coffee. The leek pizza runs the other way: small enough that one is enough for one person. Coming as a group, order one dish more than there are of you.
