FARINA

파리나 Parina Farina is the Italian word for flour — fitting for a house that makes its own fresh pasta.

Compiled from 7 blog posts read in fullSources →

A fresh-pasta restaurant on the ground floor of The Space Tower, 144 Gwangnaru-ro, Seongsu-dong. Pastas run from 24,000 won (gnocchi) to 31,000 won (Korean-beef ragù), with truffle tajarin at 30,000 and starters such as beef tartare and polpo at 24,000–25,000 (2026 posts). We read 19 posts from October 2025 to October 2026; nine were about the similarly named La Farina bagel shops or a wine and were set aside, leaving eight first-hand visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. It is small. Five of the eight visit posts say so — one counts three tables in the room, another calls the seating cramped. One adds that the big windows keep it from feeling closed in.
  2. Four posts booked or advise booking; two used CatchTable, and one says dinner is full without a reservation. Two posts mentioned an anniversary when booking and got a tiramisu with lettering on the house; four in all received tiramisu free.
  3. Three posts describe an open kitchen; one notes no cooking smell clung to clothes afterwards. Two found it quiet enough to talk over dinner.
  4. Three posts went as a couple, two with family, one for a work lunch; four were marking a birthday or anniversary.

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Posts saying you can park1 of 7 posts

Only one post actually parked there, driving in and advising a call ahead; another's 'parking available' is copied listing text. Nobody says how many spaces there are.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 7 posts read)

One post places it on the building's ground floor; nobody describes steps at the entrance.

No one says whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in, or whether there is a step at the door. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one.

No post says where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 9 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Only two posts mention getting there by subway: one says it is fairly close to Hanyang Univ. Station, the other that it is a bit of a walk from Ttukseom Station. No one mentions buses.
  • One post brought its own wine and paid a 20,000-won corkage per bottle — it is not corkage-free.
  • No post describes queuing; visitors either booked or did not mention waiting. That is an absence of reports, not proof there is no wait.
  • Three posts agree it is closed on Sundays, but the hours differ: an October 2025 post gives 11:00–22:00 with a 15:00–18:00 break, a July 2026 post 11:30–22:00 with a 15:30–18:00 break. We can't tell if the hours changed.
  • Prices come from posts from May and July 2026 only; an October 2025 post only calls them reasonable. One post lists a phone number (0507-1466-0928).
  • Chef backgrounds (hotel kitchens, a restaurant in Australia) and the in-house pasta-making are things posts repeated, so we don't rely on them. Two posts say one chef runs it, one says two. Two posts were too long for us to read.
