Palette Curry is an Indian curry restaurant a few minutes' walk from Ttukseom station. Two posts say it moved here from Songnidan-gil in mid-2025. Almost every writer mentions that the spicing has been pulled back for Korean palates; the naan is shaped after you order and fired in a tandoor. The weekday lunch set — a thali at ₩17,900 — comes with one refill each of curry and rice. The posts we read run from June 2025 to September 2026.

What sets it apart
- The prices have not moved in over a year. Two posts, August and November 2025, copy out the whole menu and agree on every figure; a September 2026 post quotes the same numbers again. In fourteen months no post we read records a different price. But a curry ordered on its own comes without rice or bread — ₩16,900–18,900 for the curry, then ₩3,000–5,000 for naan and ₩1,500 for rice. Two writers make a point of saying so.
- Nine posts say the station is close, but they disagree on which way out. Two say exit 6 — one of them under a minute, another a hundred metres — two say exit 7, and one hedges with 'exit 6 or 7'. The walk is put at one, two or five minutes. Four add that Seoul Forest is nearby too.
- Not one post reports queuing. Five say they walked straight in; the rest do not raise it. Yet the same posts describe the room filling — one got the last free table at weekday lunch, another watched it fill minutes after they sat down, a third could not photograph the room because it was full. Two mention a waiting machine and a bench outside. One writer's advice: come just after the afternoon break, because from six the after-work crowd arrives.
- You can book — four posts say so, by Naver, by the tablet at the door, or both. One was shown to a reserved table; one recommends booking outright; one mentions the place can be hired whole. Another watched a large booked party arrive.
- Two writers found the food slow. One expected the lunch set to be quick and says everything came late; the other, on the same set, puts it more gently. Both were there for the weekday thali. A third writer had the opposite experience — naan almost at once, the rest close behind. Worth knowing if your lunch hour is short.
- It moved here from Songnidan-gil, by two accounts — both describing it as an expansion as well as a move. The oldest post we read, from June 2025, calls it newly opened, which puts the Seongsu shop at the first half of that year.
- Two posts came with children, and both point the children at the butter-cream curry, the mildest one. One wandered in on a weekend evening after failing to find anywhere in Seongsu that suited a family. Neither mentions a high chair or a changing table, and nor does anyone else.
- Three posts note decorations that change with the season — Halloween in mid-October, Christmas in December, one writer saying it made their year-end dinner feel like one. On the fixed décor they disagree: one describes arched alcoves and a Taj Mahal mural, another says there is almost no Indian ornament at all.

The posts split on parking. Two say the building has a car park — one adds 'ask the restaurant', the other that it is free but too small, and recommends the public car parks nearby. The other two simply say to use the public ones. Read together it sounds like a few spaces rather than none, but no post says how many. Call ahead if you mean to drive.

Getting there
Naver Map has a full English mode — Settings → Language → English. In Korea it gives better walking and transit directions than Google Maps.
Getting inside
No post says whether a wheelchair or a pushchair gets in. Three note it is on the ground floor and one describes an arched doorway, but nobody writes about a step at the entrance or the space between tables. The two posts that came with children do not mention a pushchair either.

What we do not know
- Fourteen posts, fourteen people — nobody wrote twice. None declares a sponsorship, and one states outright that they paid. But three record a standing offer: write a photo review on Naver and get a plain naan or a soft drink. That is not the same as being paid to write a post, and we count it separately; it is still a fact about where this shop's reviews come from. Two of the sixteen we collected were about other places — a café in another district with a similar name, and this shop at its old address in Songpa.
- Some call it roomy and some call it small. One says the room is big enough to talk in; one calls it a compact little curry house with not many tables; one says it is not large, so weekends may mean a wait. Those who describe the seating count tables for two through six, plus a counter for eating alone — four posts mention that counter, and not one of the fourteen came alone.
- Weekdays there is a break from three to five. Seven posts say so, and two note that weekends have none. On opening hours nine of ten agree — 11:30 to 21:30 — and the tenth writes 20:30, in a post that also gives 14:30 as the weekday lunch last order, so the two have probably been confused. Two posts give last orders at 20:30.
- A long post is not always a full one. One of the fourteen runs to many paragraphs about a lunch break with a colleague and never once says what was eaten — no dish, no price, no description of the room, only the word 'curry'. We left it in the denominator, since they did go; the single thing we could count from it is that there were two of them. It is also the only post to say the place holds a Blue Ribbon, and with one mention we could not check it.
- One floor, at street level. The address itself says first floor, and three posts repeat it. No post mentions an upstairs or a basement.
- Not one of the fourteen mentions a toilet — inside or out in the building.
- Two phone numbers appear. Two posts give one beginning 0507 — a relay number that hides the real line — and one gives an 02 landline. Both may well ring the same place. We list the one more posts record.
