Owari Ttukseom-jeom

오와리 뚝섬점 Owari is Japanese for 'the end' — posts say the name is about closing out the day.

Compiled from 21 blog posts read in fullSources →

Owari Ttukseom is a Japanese-style izakaya in a lane just off Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station (17 Wangsimni-ro 10-gil). People come for hot pots — assorted fishcake, sukiyaki-style oden, Korean-beef motsunabe — with sides like chilli yurinki and yakisoba, over highballs or draft beer. Pots run from 25,000 won (fishcake) to 38,900 won (motsunabe), and it opens at 5 pm. We read 30 posts dated 24 April to 26 September 2026; 22 of them record actually eating here. Four were about other places — three about Dajumak down the lane, one about Owari's main branch — and we set them aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Thirteen posts put it about a minute's walk from Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station; one gives directions — left out of the exit, into the lane by the Seongsu Daepa restaurant.
  2. You order from your own phone at the table. Eight posts describe tapping an NFC tag or scanning a QR code to open the menu; one adds that you pay at the counter.
  3. Five posts from June to August 2026 mention a buy-three-get-one-free deal on Kirin draft; one says staff offered to apply it automatically as the group kept ordering.
  4. Five posts mention a small plate of sugared tomato for writing a Naver review; two of them actually received it.

  1. Six posts found the portions large — one couple wondered whether they could finish the sukiyaki pot, another was surprised by the size of the yurinki.

Getting inside

In a basement4 of 21 posts
Toilet inside6 of 21 posts
Separate restroomsyes 0 · no 2 (of 21 posts read)

The address copied into most posts says ground floor, but the room is below street level. Four visitors said so: down the stairs inside the entrance, about half a floor down, in the basement — and one found mobile data and wifi weak because of it. The registered address also lists B1.

Nobody mentioned a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. The room is below ground and a visitor took stairs down, so check ahead — this means no one wrote about it, not that there is no access.

Six posts say the toilet is inside the bar, one placing it right by the entrance. Two note it is a single unisex room.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 25 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Posts disagree on size: four found it roomy with well-spaced tables, three found it small. A larger group said it fills up quickly because the room is not large.
  • Noise levels are disputed: two posts found it quiet enough to talk, one remembered loud music and louder conversation. Several mention Japanese pop playing.
  • We know little about waits. One post walked in late and sat down at once; one found it full, went elsewhere and came back; one warned that weekends mean a wait unless you arrive at opening. Nobody recorded how long they waited.
  • Three posts went on a date. Others went as a larger group, as a work dinner, or with a friend. No one mentioned bringing children.
  • All opening hours come from copied store information. Ten posts list Saturday as 5 pm to 2 am, and most give 5 pm to 1 am Sunday to Friday; two say 5 pm to 1 am daily, one says 5 pm to 2 am daily. A single post from 24 April 2026 gave Sunday as 4 pm to midnight; posts from May onward say Sunday also opens at 5 pm. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Prices vary slightly between posts: sukiyaki oden pot at 28,900 won in two posts and 38,000 in one; yurinki at 24,000, 24,900 and 25,000; the assorted fishcake pot at 25,900 (April) and 25,000 (May, July). We could not tell price changes from typos. Two people having the motsunabe, the egg takoyaki and two peach highballs paid 69,800 won.
  • Eight posts give the phone number 0507-1330-1951. Naver booking appears only in copied store information; nobody wrote that they booked.
  • Some posts look commissioned. Five posts from 25 July, 14 August and 26 August 2026 ordered the identical trio of sukiyaki oden pot, yurinki and yakisoba; three from 23 and 26 September ordered the identical motsunabe, egg takoyaki and peach highball. Only one post, from 21 May, disclosed sponsorship. Read the praise with that in mind.
  • Owari's main branch at 13 Yeonmujang-gil is a separate place. A post from 30 June 2026 says the main branch closed after 13 June to move to a bigger site — that does not concern this Ttukseom branch.
