Compiled from 17 blog posts read in fullSources →

Oreno Katsu is a pork-cutlet shop at 47 Seongsu-il-ro, between Ttukseom Station and Seoul Forest. The plain house cutlet is 11,500 won, the cheddar-cream cutlet 14,000 won, and a set pairing a cutlet with cold soba, bibim soba or cold udon plus a croquette and fried shrimp was 18,000 won in one post. Two posts say you order from a kiosk or digital menu at the table. We read 27 posts dated May 30 to September 28, 2026; 17 were written by people who ate there. We set aside 3 about other restaurants (one was the Jamsil branch) and did not count 7 list or promotional posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Waiting is split, 4 posts to 3. On the waiting side: one regular-hours worker only got in by arriving around 11:40; a weekend lunch had a short line; one couple was seated just after noon and watched a line form right after they ordered; another simply called it a place with a wait. No wait on a late Monday lunch, a weekday 7 pm dinner, or for one writer who remembered long lines and found none now. Nobody wrote down how many minutes.
  2. Four posts say the portions are large. One writer who had the curry cutlet left a piece because the rice was too much; another lists the mini soba, croquette and fried shrimp that come with the set. No post called the food small.
  3. Six posts describe the coating as crisp. Three say the meat is thick and three call it juicy or moist; one writer disagreed, finding it greasy and a little dry.
  4. Five posts describe repeat visits, including one writer who comes whenever she is in Seongsu with her sister and one returning after eight years. One writer found it more ordinary than expected.
4 more
  1. Two posts came with children. One family with a 6- and 9-year-old was given scissors along with cutlery and says rice, soup and salad are refilled when each person orders a main, so their child had rice twice. The other says the older child chose cold udon and finished it alone.
  2. One post says turning on notifications for the shop in Naver Map gives a two-piece karaage coupon per person, not per table, so the pair got four pieces. Two posts got a free soft drink for a receipt review.
  3. Views of the room differ: one post calls it fairly large with many tables, two say it is not big. One couple had to tuck a backpack into a corner because the seats are close; another writer found the tables comfortably spaced but notes they seat two or four, which could be awkward for five or more.
  4. One visiting writer said it is about a three-minute walk from exit 5 of Ttukseom Station (elsewhere in the same post, five minutes). The same line in list posts is copied and not counted.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 17 posts read)

No visitor described which floor it is on; only the address says ground floor, unit 102.

No post says whether the entrance has a step or stairs, or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That is not a no — nobody wrote about it.

Only one post mentions the toilet: it is outside the shop, shared and small but clean. It does not say whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-08-242 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opening hours: three visiting posts give 11:30–22:00; two put the afternoon break at 14:50–17:00 and one at 15:00–17:00. Two of them are copied listing text. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Prices come from one or two posts per dish. The mozzarella cutlet was 14,500 won in a June post and 14,000 won in a July post. No post totals what a meal for two cost.
  • No post gives a phone number or says whether the shop takes reservations.
  • We did not count templated posts: two word-for-word 'Seongsu top 10' lists, three Ttukseom-station lists naming the same ten places in the same order, and one promotional post pasted from the shop's own blurb and Naver review counts. Claims like 'top-grade Korean pork' and 'chilled domestic pork, low-temperature aged' are the shop's own words.
