Onjeong Donkkaseu Seongsu Ttukseom-jeom
온정돈까스 성수뚝섬점 Onjeong means warmth or kindly feeling; this is the Seongsu-Ttukseom branch of a cutlet brand that hangs a SINCE 1998 sign and is known for its extra-hot Dijinda cutlet.
Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →
A cutlet house that opened in early summer 2026 on the ground floor of a converted house, in the lane behind Ttukseom Station exit 1. It is a branch of the Onjeong chain, which hangs a SINCE 1998 sign, and you choose your sauce from four heat levels: Onjeong, Maekom, Nunmul and Dijinda. The basic Onjeong cutlet is 11,900 won, the whole fish cutlet 12,900, the cheese and sweet-potato cutlets 13,900, a cutlet-plus-cold-noodle set 14,900, the three-sauce BIG-3 plate 18,900 and the Dijinda challenge cutlet 30,000. We read 20 posts dated 1 June to 5 October 2026; 18 describe an actual meal. One is a Namsan travel post that only says lunch was eaten here, and one, about a neighbouring buckwheat-noodle shop, we set aside. Two posts note the space used to be a tendon shop called Onsen.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Portions come up again and again: all 11 posts that discuss quantity call them generous. One says the set's cold noodles are 'definitely not a dessert-size bowl'; others note the basic cutlet arrives as two pieces. One post points out that the noodle set does not include rice, so you order a bowl separately.
- Thirteen of the 16 posts that talk about texture call the coating crisp; five mention a thick cut of pork and five mention juiciness. Two posts say they asked for more sauce and were given an extra dish of it.
- Accounts of the heat differ. Six posts say it was spicy, one says the Nunmul level was 'not spicy at all', and two found the Maekom level milder than expected without settling the question. None of the posts we read ordered the Dijinda cutlet; one watched the next table try it.
- A long single-seat bar runs along the wall, with two- and four-person tables in the middle. Of the six posts that describe the seating, four mention both the bar and the tables, which is why several call it easy for solo diners.
5 more
- You order from your seat: five posts say so, two describing a tablet at each place and two a kiosk at the table. One post notes pickled radish is not served by default and had to be requested through the kiosk.
- Four posts mention a receipt-review offer of a fried prawn or a drink; two of them actually received the prawn.
- It is a walk from Ttukseom Station exit 1. Seven posts describe the route, giving 'about 170 m', 'five minutes' and 'under five minutes'; one says about ten minutes from Ttukseom or Seoul Forest station. One gives directions: turn into the lane with Blue Bottle and head toward the Yeollin real-estate office.
- Company: three posts went as a couple, two with friends, two in a group of three or more, and one with family including a child.
- One post says cats greeted them on the way in; no other post mentions them.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 18 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read) |
The restaurant is on the ground floor of a converted house, as two posts note; one mentions a wooden deck in front of the entrance.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That is a gap in the record, not evidence either way.
One post says the toilet is outside the restaurant. No one says how far away it is or whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waiting depends on the hour. One post was told to expect about ten minutes at a weekday lunch; two waited not at all, one arriving after the lunch rush and one on a weekday evening. One post mentions chairs outside for those waiting.
- One post saw the country-of-origin notice; another looked for it and could not find it.
- Opening hours appear in 11 posts and none disagree: daily 11:00-21:00, break 15:30-17:00, last order 20:30. Several of these simply copy the shop's listing, though, and only one post says there is no closing day.
- Prices come from menus and receipts in posts from June to August 2026. One post calls it good value and none call it expensive; we do not know whether prices have changed since.
- Five posts give the same phone number, 0507-1315-1397. None says whether reservations are taken.
- Five posts from July 2026 repeat the same set of search keywords, push the same cutlet-and-noodle pairing and copy wording from the shop's own notices. Only one of them discloses sponsorship, so read their praise with that in mind.
