Morimoly is a seaweed-taco shop on a Seongsu-dong side street (Seongsuil-ro 3-gil), between Seoul Forest and Ttukseom stations. Instead of a tortilla, the shell is fried seaweed, filled with rice and topped with chicken thigh, shrimp, salmon or wagyu. One menu item gets you two pieces plus fries, priced 12,900 to 16,900 won on the menus posts copied. The ground floor is the kitchen and counter: you order at a kiosk or by the QR code at your table, collect the food downstairs, and eat on the second or third floor. We read 30 posts dated 31 July to 29 September 2026. We counted the 21 that visited the Seongsu shop (31 July to 15 September) and set aside six about a pop-up in Busan's Samjeong Tower and three about other places.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart
- Ordering and fetching are on you. Ten posts ordered at a kiosk or by table QR. Posts describe getting a ping when the food is ready and going down to the ground floor for it; one adds that you carry your empties back down as well, and that with a tray in hand the narrow stairs make several trips for anyone sitting on the third floor. Water, wet wipes and plastic gloves sit at a self-service station on each floor.
- The seaweed shell stays crisp, again and again. Fourteen posts say so; one notes it never went soggy, and one that went on a humid day was surprised it was still crunchy. Another says it doesn't shatter like a hard-shell tortilla, so the filling stays put. Only one post found it a bit soggy, after carrying it to Seoul Forest, and wondered whether the weather or the box was to blame.
- One plate makes a meal. With rice inside the shell and fries on the side, thirteen posts found it more filling than they expected; one that added salsa dumplings said it turned out to be a lot of food. The fries split opinion: one post got them cold and no longer crisp, another says they came out hot.
- Six posts say it's walkable from the subway: about five minutes from Seoul Forest Station by one account, about ten from Ttukseom Station exit 5 by another.

Parking

The shop has no parking of its own. One post that drove found the public lot across the street full and parked at the Seongsu cultural welfare center about 538 m away; another listed parking as the one letdown. Other posts saying 'no parking' were copying the shop's notice, so we didn't count them.

Getting inside

There is no seating on the ground floor; you eat upstairs. Seventeen posts ate on, or describe, the second or third floor. Seven say there are both bar seats and tables, so solo diners are covered. Which floor has the bar varies: three posts put it on the third floor, while one says the second floor has wall-facing seats and the third has regular tables. The earliest post (31 July) mentions only two floors, and one from 5 August says only the second floor was open because it was quiet.
The registered address says basement through third floor, but no post describes going down to a basement. Two posts that mention it appear to be repeating the address, so we didn't count them. That doesn't mean there's no basement seating, only that nobody wrote about using it.
No post mentions getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. Several say you climb stairs to the seating on the second and third floors and to the rooftop toilets, and none mentions a passenger lift. One post says the food travels by elevator, which reads as a dumbwaiter, so we didn't count it. Nobody says whether there is a step at the entrance.
Three posts say the toilets are at the very top, on the rooftop. One of them says they are separate for men and women, that getting there is a workout, and that the stairs have no handrail.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- No post reports waiting. One went at the weekend lunch peak and sat straight down; another arrived around 5 p.m. and saw every table full by about 6. All of these date from the first months after opening (July–September 2026), so we can't say whether that still holds.
- Prices come only from posts that copied the menu. August and September posts agree: 14,900 won for the Morimoly and garlic-butter shrimp tacos, 12,900 for shrimp tempura, 16,900 for salmon tartare, uni-yukhoe and truffle wagyu, 8,000 for sides. Two posts call that reasonable for Seongsu; one says cold fries make a mid-teens set feel less worth it. No one gives beer prices. The 7,900-won single tacos mentioned in Busan pop-up posts are not this shop's prices.
- Thirteen posts list the same opening hours, 11:00–21:00 daily, and six give last orders at 20:30. Nearly all of these copy the shop's listing rather than reporting what they saw. Posts also copied notices of a closure on 17–18 August and interior work on 13–18 September 2026.
- Interior work began on 13 September 2026; a post from 15 September copied the notice giving 13–18 September. We have no post from after the work, so we don't know whether the seating or menu changed.
- Five posts give the phone number 0507-1397-2033; one gives 010-7936-3276. No one says whether the shop takes reservations.
- Posts don't agree on the meat in the signature Morimoly taco. Six say slow-cooked chicken thigh (mostly echoing the menu description), two say soy-marinated meat, one says pork and one beef shank.
- Four posts from 9–15 August 2026 reuse the shop's own promotional copy almost word for word. None says it was sponsored, but because they follow the same template we gave their praise less weight. One post attaches a receipt to show the author paid.
- We left out six posts about the Busan Samjeong Tower pop-up (4–17 September 2026). Their comments on small portions, 7,900-won single tacos and four-piece sets describe the pop-up, not the Seongsu shop.
