Miyu is a cafe on a residential lane in Seongsu-dong 1-ga (19-11 Ttukseom-ro 1ga-gil), between Seoul Forest and Ttukseom stations. The owner's munchkin kitten, Miyu, lives in the shop and gave it its name. It serves coffee, tea, ades, Basque cheesecake and financiers, ordered at a kiosk. Prices in the posts: americano 5,000 won, ades 6,500, financier 3,500, Greek Basque cheesecake 8,500. It opened in August 2026; one post says a cafe called Yungi used to occupy the space. What sets it apart
- All 14 visit posts mention the kitten. Its age is given as about 120 days (two posts), just over 100 days (one) and four months (one). A sign on the wall explains how to greet it: stroke the chin and cheeks with the back of your hand, and ask the owner before picking it up. Two posts, by the same person on two visits, found it asleep the whole time.
- Two posts saw a queue form — once a little after they arrived, and from after lunchtime on a weekend. Others found it full without a queue: one couple left at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon for lack of seats, and another post says office workers filled it from 12:30 on a weekday. One post mentions waiting seats in the front yard.
- Five posts mention a shelf of books inside, along with memo paper, letter paper and a guestbook where visitors leave notes for the cat; one post spotted cat books among them.
- Four posts call it quiet; one writer goes every week to study or read. Four also mention good daylight through the windows, one noting warm sun after 10 a.m. Two posts say the room is not large.

No post describes the floor from experience; the address says ground floor, and one post describes a gravel path to the door.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in — nobody wrote about it. One post mentions a small stone path through gravel to the entrance.
One post found the restroom clean, but nobody said whether it is inside the cafe or separated by gender.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Things changed in September 2026. Posts from late August and early September describe the kitten roaming the floor, under chairs and into the kitchen, and a single bar seat facing the window. On 11 September one writer added that the single seats were gone and the kitten no longer roams; posts from 17 and 20 September put it behind a barrier. Posts from 20 and 21 September still mention a bar table, so we can't tell whether all bar seating went.
- One post found the drinks slow to arrive, and another noted the owner was working alone with a lot of customers. Three posts describe the owner as friendly.
- Portions split one to one: one post found the ade generous because of light ice, another found the cups small.
- The five-minute walk from Seoul Forest station exit 1 (nine from Ttukseom) is copied from map listings, not walked. One post says the alleys are confusing; another says to look for the lane beside Joyang Presbyterian Church.
- Few posts say who they went with: two with a friend, one alone; the rest don't say.
- Eight posts list the hours as 10:00-22:00 daily, six adding last order at 21:30 — all copied from listings. None mentions a closing day.
- Six posts give prices: drinks 5,000-7,000 won, cheesecakes around 8,000-9,000 won. The 500-won tumbler discount is copied from the menu board. Nobody called it expensive.
- Two posts copy the phone number 0507-1381-1227 from the listing; none says whether you can book.
