Questo Gelato is a small gelato shop on a back lane near Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station in Seongsu-dong. Gelato and sorbet come in cocktail or martini glasses, and it also sells red and white wine by the glass. One flavour is 6,500 won, two flavours 7,500 won, a three-flavour takeaway tub 21,000 won and a glass of wine 9,000 won, and every post from August to late September gives the same prices. Flavours rotate with the season: the September posts list salted milk pecan, jasmine matcha and apple-mint cacao, while the August posts had Earl Grey milk tea, coconut basil and Valrhona chocolate mousse. We read 30 posts dated 18 June to 5 October 2026, and 24 of them record an actual visit. We set aside 4 that were festival notices or about other shops.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. It is a small room. Ten posts call it small or cosy. Those that describe the seating mention about five bar stools and two tables for two, and one puts the total at under ten people. Eleven posts mention sitting down to eat, and one visitor had to stand because every seat was taken.
  2. This is a gelato shop that also pours wine. Thirteen posts mention wine by the glass, at 9,000 won for red or white. Visitors who ordered white said it came chilled, light and slightly sweet. The lemon sorbet is made with Sauvignon Blanc too, and one visitor noted you can taste the alcohol but it won't make you tipsy.
  3. No post mentions waiting. Four say there was no wait: a weekday afternoon around 3 to 4 pm with nobody else there, a weekday at 7 pm, and late at night. Nobody wrote about weekend evenings.
  4. It is close to Ttukseom Station. Seven posts say it is an easy walk, with distances from Exit 7 given as 93 metres, one minute or about three minutes. One visitor warns that it is tucked into an alley, so first-timers may wander a little.

  1. Seven posts describe going with friends, four with a partner or husband, and two with a group of colleagues. Two of the friend visits are the same 14 September outing, written up twice by one blogger. Several visitors stopped in for dessert after dinner.

Getting inside

Second floor7 of 22 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 10 (of 22 posts read)
Step at the entrance5 of 22 posts

The address says ground floor, but visitors remember going upstairs. Seven posts say it is on the second floor, and one describes it as half a flight up an outside staircase, so it feels like the second floor. Ten posts place it above street level, and none below. The soba restaurant Sobamae is on the lower level of the same building, and some visitors found the shop by looking above it.

You reach the shop by stairs. Five posts mention climbing the staircase to the left of the sign, and one calls it unusual and narrow, possibly risky after a few drinks. No post mentions a lift or a ramp.

No post describes getting in with a wheelchair or a pushchair. People only mention the stairs, so we don't know whether there is another way in. That doesn't mean there isn't one, only that nobody wrote about it.

No visitor actually describes the toilet. One post's info box lists a unisex toilet inside the shop, but it was copied from a listing, so we didn't count it.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Posts disagree about a terrace. Five posts mention sitting on, or seeing, a terrace or small balcony, all dated 31 August or later. One post from 8 August says there isn't really a terrace. We can't tell whether it was added in between or that visitor simply missed it.
  • Ten posts give opening hours. Nine say 11:30 to 22:00, and one from 8 August says 12:00 to 22:00. Most of these were copied from listings, so we can't tell whether the opening time changed or was copied wrong. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Prices show no rise between August and late September. It's priced by the glass rather than as a meal: one post works out a gelato plus a glass of wine at about 16,000 won. One visitor said that because it isn't cheap, they expected more from the flavour.
  • Two posts give the same phone number, 0507-1418-9926. Nobody mentions whether the shop takes reservations.
  • The flavour list changes with the season. A June visitor had mugwort gelato and a tomato and Korean mint sorbet. By late August, mugwort was gone, described as a spring-only flavour. The August posts list Earl Grey milk tea, coconut basil and Valrhona chocolate mousse. From 7 September those are replaced by salted milk pecan and apple-mint cacao. Honey-pepper Korean melon sorbet and pistachio appear in both periods.
