Kosi Seongsu-jeom
코시 성수점 Koshi (こし) is the Japanese word for the firm, springy bite of noodles — the house makes its own Sanuki-style udon.

Kosi Seongsu is a ground-floor shop in an alley near Ttukseom Station serving Sanuki-style udon alongside pork cutlets. Posts list bukkake udon at 9,000 won, toriten bukkake at 11,000 won and a cheese cutlet at 12,500 won; turning udon into a set (+5,000 won) adds a 120 g cutlet, and turning a cutlet into a set (+3,500 won) adds a bowl of kake udon. Every main comes with an inari pocket and cabbage salad, and the bukkake sauce arrives on the side for you to pour. We read 30 posts dated 17 September to 5 October 2026; 18 of them are visits to this shop. We set aside 12: four about the Konkuk branch, one about the Seoul National University branch, two Albania travel posts, and five about other shops that only link to this one.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a line at mealtimes. Five posts waited or saw a queue; one walked straight in at dinner. A writer on their fourth visit put the average wait at 5–10 minutes; others found a line at 2 p.m. on a Saturday and a short one at weekday lunch from nearby office workers. Four posts describe a sign-up list outside the door — one says you write your name and party size on paper, another that there is no Naver reservation or Tabling app.
- There are both counter seats and tables: seven posts say so, one listing four-tops, two-tops and a bar. A solo diner liked the row of single counter seats, so no one has to take a four-top alone.
- The room is small: three posts say so — two call it compact, one says tables are close together at the dinner peak. No post about this branch calls it roomy.
- You order from a tablet at your seat, as seven posts note. One mentions English, Japanese and Chinese buttons; another describes a video about the noodles and stock playing on the screen (the shop's own claims, which we do not count).
6 more
- Nine posts say the portions are large or left them very full; one self-described big eater was glad not to have ordered an extra side.
- Eight posts call the frying crisp, often noting it arrives hot; one says the tempura doesn't go soggy even on top of the udon, another that the cutlet is served on a rack to keep the underside dry.
- Four posts say it isn't salty, since the sauce comes separately and you add your own. One writer poured it all in at once and found it a bit salty — hence the repeated advice to add it gradually.
- Five posts mention a review event; posts received a vegetable fritter and two lotus-root skewers, and one says it is one per person rather than per table.
- It's close to the subway: eight posts say it's an easy walk. Two give 2–3 minutes from Ttukseom Station exit 6, one says 2 minutes from exit 2, and one walked about 10 minutes from Seoul Forest Station.
- Four posts went alone, three with friends, two with a partner, one with family and one as a group of three. A solo diner noted that so many others were eating alone that it felt completely comfortable.

Parking
2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Don't count on parking. Two posts looked at the spaces out front and disagree on the number — two cars versus up to three. The first found a bin on one side and the waiting list and queue on the other; the second also says the line makes parking hard and suggests the subway. Other posts' 'two spaces in front' is copied listing text, and one info box says no parking.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
It's close to the subway: eight posts say it's an easy walk. Two give 2–3 minutes from Ttukseom Station exit 6, one says 2 minutes from exit 2, and one walked about 10 minutes from Seoul Forest Station.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read) |
|---|
No post describes the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor, and no one mentions stairs, a basement or an upper level.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One post went with a child but said nothing about the entrance — that means no one wrote about it, not that there is a barrier.
The toilet is outside the shop. One post describes it from experience: out the door, around to the right at the alley entrance, with the door code posted beside it — awkward with a child. Another post's info box says the same. No one mentions whether it is separated by sex.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Fourteen posts give the same hours — daily 11:00–21:00, break 15:00–17:00, last order 20:30 — but all copied from the listing. Two say there is no closing day, and one notes the afternoon break applies on weekends too.
- Prices come from posts dated September–October 2026; the loin cutlet (11,500 won), half-and-half cutlet (13,500 won), maze udon and katsudon (11,000 won) were copied from the listing by one post. As examples of a meal, two people paid 32,000 won for two sets, and a solo diner paid 18,000 won for udon with an extra cutlet and a drink.
- Ten of the visit posts give the phone number 02-6465-9797. Reservations are unclear: two copied info boxes say Naver booking is available, but one visitor wrote that there is no Naver booking or Tabling, only the list at the door.
- Of the 18 visits, one discloses receiving the meal from the shop. Another follows a templated checklist format, so we counted only what the writer actually experienced. Hearsay (a baseball player's visit, the Konkuk branch being the original) and the ingredient claims on the ordering screen are repeated text, not counted.
