Cafe

Nakta Keopi Roseuteoseu

낙타커피로스터스 Nakta means camel; the sign out front reads only Keopi Bokkneun Jip, 'the house that roasts coffee'.

Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

A small roastery cafe in an alley off Sangwon 6na-gil in Seongsu-dong. The sign says only Keopi Bokkneun Jip, 'the house that roasts coffee', and three posts said they had trouble spotting it or noticed letters missing from the sign. The core of the menu is filter coffee: you smell the beans in open bins and pick one, which three posts described doing. One September 2026 post said all filter coffees were 7,000 won. We read 15 posts dated September 25, 2025 to October 3, 2026. Seven are first-hand visits, one is a single entry in a list of cafes, and seven were about other places that only share a word in the name.

What sets it apart

  1. It is small. Three posts said so, calling it cozy, short on seats, or cramped, with most customers taking their drinks away. Still, four posts sat inside, and one stayed a long while working on a laptop.
  2. One post noted the owner works alone. A December 2025 visit at weekday lunch waited about 20 minutes for an americano, found nowhere to wait, and advised ordering ahead on Naver. A July 2026 post also said weekday lunch is packed with office workers from nearby.
  3. Stamp cards hang inside the shop. Two posts mentioned them, and one explained that customers stamp their own card after ordering. The same post said Seoul Pay is accepted.
  4. In one September 2026 post, the owner brewed a taste of the lychee bean the writer had been torn over alongside the jasmine they ordered, and later brought out an iced grapefruit coffee to try. Two posts described the owner as kind.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post described the floor or any steps at the entrance from experience. The address says ground floor, but no one confirmed it.

We don't know about the entrance step or wheelchair and stroller access. That is not a no; nobody wrote about it.

On the toilet, one post said only that you need to take a key. Whether it is inside the shop or shared with the building, and whether it is split by gender, we don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 7 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Ordering has changed. A September 2025 post photographed a menu board; a July 2026 post said the paper menu had been replaced by a Naver payment kiosk. A December 2025 post mentioned QR ordering. Only one post describes the kiosk.
  • Two posts copied out opening hours, and they disagree: December 2025 gave Monday to Friday 11:30-18:00 with weekends closed, while July 2026 gave Monday to Saturday 11:30-17:30 with Sundays closed. Both are pasted info blocks, not observations. Check whether it opens on Saturday before going.
  • Only two posts gave prices: 4,800 won for a grapefruit americano in September 2025, and 7,000 won for filter coffee in September 2026. No one recorded latte or salt latte prices.
  • Posts say it is near Ttukseom Station, but none described actually walking there from the station or a bus stop.
  • No post reported queuing to get in. Posts do say lunch is crowded and drinks can take a while (see above).
  • Little to go on about company: one post went with a friend, one with a coworker, one with a group, and the rest didn't say.
  • The phone number 0507-1371-0857 appears in two posts' copied info blocks. No post said whether phone reservations are taken; one recommended pre-ordering through Naver.
