Hwemiri Sonkalguksu Bossam
훼미리손칼국수보쌈 Hwemiri is an old-fashioned Korean spelling of 'family'; sonkalguksu is hand-cut noodle soup and bossam is boiled pork eaten wrapped with kimchi and cabbage.

A bossam and hand-cut noodle house at Wangsimni-ro 134, by Exit 1 of Ttukseom Station. Almost everyone orders the bossam set (15,000 won): boiled pork with napa and radish kimchi, raw cabbage and salted shrimp, a little rice and a bowl of beef-bone noodle soup, all for one person. Evening tables often add soju. We read 30 posts dated 10 September to 4 October 2026; 23 describe actually eating here, and 17 of those ordered the set. The rest are roundup lists or posts about other places.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a line at mealtimes. Fourteen posts mention waiting or seeing the usual queue. Five give a time: 10 minutes (Saturday 1 pm), 15, 15 (Friday 7:30 pm), 20 (weekend 6 pm) and 30 (Saturday 6 pm). Three say there is no ticket or name list — you simply wait in order outside — and two of them add that you are sent back if your whole party has not arrived. One solo diner who came at the 11:30 Saturday opening found it already full and was seated with strangers.
- Eight posts mention chairs outside for people waiting. One counted only five, so later arrivals stand. Several writers note that tables turn over quickly.
- Writers find it cheap: eleven call it good value or reasonable, and none call it expensive. Two couples paid 30,000 won for two sets.
- Six posts say the pork has no off smell, and several mention fat left on the lean for moistness. One writer found it a little dry, and one bit into a piece of clam shell.
4 more
- The noodle soup divides people. Three posts call it lightly seasoned or nearly unsalted and one says it tastes of MSG, while several others praise a deep bone broth. Some recommend the chili paste on the table; one preferred it without.
- The set's rice is a small scoop — a third or two-thirds of a bowl. Three writers were disappointed by it and two more describe about half a bowl, though the disappointed ones add that the noodles left them full.
- Four posts call the portions large, from a noodle bowl described as big as a hand to a two-person pork plate called enormous.
- Two posts noticed many Japanese customers, and two saw the TV inside replaying the shows this place has appeared on, including a Japanese one.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 2 of 21 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | 1 of 21 posts |
| Separate restrooms | yes 0 · no 1 (of 21 posts read) |
There are two entrances. Two posts describe it: one entrance leads up to a second-floor room while the other opens straight into the ground floor. Two more writers followed the map app to the back door; one was puzzled to see no queue there until realising the line was at the front.
No one mentions steps, a threshold, or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One entrance reportedly leads to a second floor, so there may be stairs — but we simply have no account.
Only one post mentions the toilet: inside, shared by men and women, and inconvenient enough to cost a point in that writer's score. No one else mentions it.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-09-14 | 2 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Ten posts list the same hours, daily 11:30–21:30, but all copy it from an info line; none mention a break, last order or closing day. One roundup notes some sources say 22:00. One writer walked in at 11:00 on a Monday and was served.
- Five posts give the same phone number, 02-463-5036, but nobody says they booked. One checklist claims phone reservations work while a roundup says walk-in only, so we can't say whether booking is possible.
- Service is split one to one: one writer found the owner kind (generous refills of rice and noodles), another said it was not especially friendly.
- The TV appearances, the actor who is said to be a regular, and the 1988 opening date (1986 in licence records) are repeated from broadcasts and the shop's own signs; we did not count them.
