그리너 뚝섬점 Geurineo, Ttukseom-jeom GREENER, as in greener than the alternative — a small salad-and-poke chain that leans hard on the word, from the deep-green shopfront to the returnable paper bags. This is the Ttukseom branch; several others trade under the same name elsewhere in Seoul, with different hours and prices.

Greener Ttukseom is a salad and poke shop on the second floor of a building on Sangwon-gil, two or three minutes from exit 3 at Ttukseom station. It is one branch of a chain — one post says the original is in Yeonnam and there are franchises around the city; another credits Hannam. What it sells: poke bowls (brown rice under vegetables and a protein, Hawaiian style), salads, wraps and burritos, Greek yogurt and pressed juice, with the dressing chosen at the point of order — oriental, wholegrain mustard, miso-sesame, lemon-anchovy, balsamic, spicy creamy. There is also a build-your-own option instead of the fixed menu. You order at a kiosk and fetch your own water and cutlery — it is possible to eat here without speaking to anyone. The kitchen is open to the room, and the counter along the window means a lot of people come alone. It shuts early in the evening, and its closing days have moved repeatedly. We read twenty-seven posts from December 2023 to September 2026, by twenty-six people.

  **The dish the shop is known for** — one post repeats the house line that a million bowls have gone out in three years. The contents barely vary between accounts: **smoked** salmon, avocado, brown rice, mixed leaves, sliced onion, cherry tomato, sweetcorn, laver, furikake, flying-fish roe, chopped pickled radish and **fried onion flakes**. Three writers point out that the salmon is smoked rather than raw. You pick the dressing at the kiosk; the miso-sesame is the commonest choice

  Three different prices: ₩12,000 in March 2024, ₩13,000 in July 2026, and **₩11,000 in September 2026** — the last one a discount, which is exactly why that writer ordered it over the salmon at ₩14,500. A July 2026 post also has it discounted, from ₩13,000 to ₩12,000. **Paying full price for this bowl seems to be the exception.** One writer found it hotter than expected and blames the crushed pepper on top

  **Three writers came for the poke and left talking about this.** It is made in-house; one copied the label — 99.996% milk, no added sugar, 270kcal for 120g. Four call it dense, two reaching for cream cheese as the comparison. It is sold paired with granola, mixed-berry or fruit bowls, with a honey stick alongside; one post prices the extras — dried cranberry, cacao nibs, more honey — at ₩500 each

  ₩3,200 for plain yogurt, ₩4,300 for the Greek, ₩6,200 with a mixed-berry bowl, ₩7,200 for the granola set — all 2024 figures. **Two writers took half of it home,** since it comes in a tub. One September 2026 visitor found it **simply unavailable at weekday lunchtime**

  **The cheaper bowls** — salmon or tuna, no avocado. The tuna one is the least expensive poke here. One writer lists what is in it and finds none of it stinted; another says the dressing stays out of the way of the fish. A third picked the spicy creamy dressing and kept going back for more

All three who ordered one lead with the same thing — **no sugar added** — and one, who normally sticks to americano and water because of her blood sugar, was visibly relieved. On taste: less of the raw-kale smell than expected, and, from another, oddly like kiwi

  **The shop's signature pasta salad:** pasta and leaves under thick-cut whole bacon, a soft-boiled egg and grated parmesan. Two writers lead with the bacon — the piece that makes it, one says; a great deal of it, says the other. The default dressing is lemon and anchovy, and one writer who tasted it on its own was convinced she had made a mistake, then found it worked entirely once it was on the salad

  ₩10,000 in three posts between May and October 2024. **Toppings can be added** — one writer calls grilled enoki compulsory; another added apple and jalapeño and worked the total out at 513 calories, while noting that the protein is low and that anyone eating this to diet should add chicken

Another warns that **only certain salads come at the set price** and anything else carries a supplement, naming the four that do. Three posts say the bundle saves money

Only two actually built one — one loaded it with aubergine, egg, squash, olives, jalapeño, sweetcorn, enoki and onion; the other added prawns and enoki to a beef salad and asked for the tomatoes out

Getting inside

Second floor, up stairs. Twenty posts place it on the second floor and six of those describe the climb — the staircase beside the entrance, up and you are there. Not one post mentions a lift, in either direction. Nobody counts the steps, mentions a handrail or a threshold, and nobody says whether a wheelchair or a pushchair can get in. That means we do not know, not that it cannot. Ring and ask if it matters. One writer warns the sign is easy to miss — look for the hardware shop and the postbox, she advises, in October 2024. But what is on the ground floor changes from post to post: a pork restaurant in two April 2024 accounts, a different pork restaurant in September 2024, a hardware shop in October. The neighbour downstairs has evidently turned over more than once, so navigate by the address rather than the landmark. For what it is worth, another writer found the pavement sign so large you would have to work at not seeing it.

When the posts appeared

What we do not know

• There are several shops with this name. Greener franchises, so a search turns up Seocho, Yeonnam and Hannam alongside this one. Three of the thirty posts we collected turned out to be about a Seocho branch, and we removed them. Branches differ in hours, prices and seating — one writer notes that Yeonnam has two ordering kiosks and Ttukseom has one, which is how separately they are run. So do not carry hours or discounts you read about elsewhere over to this address. Every figure on this page belongs to the second floor at 49 Sangwon-gil. One post also records the branch reopening in September 2024, with poke added to the menu and an opening promotion; what else changed, it does not say and we could not establish.
• The hours and the closing day have kept moving for three years. In order: December 2023 gives eight in the morning to ten at night; twelve posts from March to September 2024 all give ten to ten, and so does one from February 2025; October 2025 gives eleven to nine; February 2026 ten to eight; July and September 2026 half ten to half eight. Closing has come forward by an hour and a half. The figures above count only the most recent. The closing day is messier: nine posts in 2024 say Saturday only — one writer found that oddly specific — while two from September 2024 and the February and July 2026 posts say both weekend days, February 2025 says the weekend, and October 2025 is back to Saturday alone. The newest post, September 2026, has it open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday — two months after a post that had it shut on Saturday too, so Saturday appears to have come back. The two agree on the times and differ only on the days, so the times are recorded above and the days are kept separately as closing days. And every one of these numbers is copied from a listing; nobody watched the door. One post's timetable we did not count at all: it is a round-up of five places, and the address and hours printed under its Greener heading belong to the restaurant listed just before it.
• One writer queued at lunchtime; four found it quiet. The queue is from October 2024 — a weekday, she notes, and already a line at midday. The others went at different hours: just after eleven, with the pick of the tables; after the lunch rush, at leisure; and straight after work, to an almost empty room that filled slowly. One writer went at peak lunchtime in October 2024 and still found seats. Nobody in these posts booked a table — reservations appear only in the copied listings, and no writer used one. What several do notice is how much of the business goes out the door: two mention the delivery-order chimes going off continuously while they ate.
• Four writers found something unavailable. In September 2026 the Greek yogurt was simply off at weekday lunch. In February 2025 the beef and the avocado were both down to supply problems — though that writer's abiding memory is being told to pick anything else she liked. In September 2024 a late arrival found the avocado gone and was given chicken instead. In April 2024 there was no zero-sugar cola. That is the avocado missing from the signature bowl twice. Come early if you have your heart set on something. All four describe the substitution warmly; another writer who asked for no tomato was offered sweetcorn or olives in its place.
• Only one writer looked at the lavatory and wrote it down. From October 2024: it is by the second-floor entrance, and while the men's and women's are separated they share one space, which she thought a pity — though since nobody is drinking here it sees little traffic, and it was kept clean. Everywhere else the lavatory appears only in the copied listing blocks, and those contradict each other: one September 2024 post prints "men's and women's not separated", two others from earlier that year print "separated". All three are lifted from the same amenity list, so we have counted none of them. Nobody says how wide the door is, what the handle is like, or whether there is room to turn around.
• The list price is hard to pin down, because something is almost always discounted. Four posts catch a promotion and it is a different dish each time — the beef bowl at ₩10,900 (July 2024), the tuna at ₩9,900 (October 2024), the duck at ₩12,000 (July 2026) and again at ₩11,000 (September 2026). That last writer changed her order because of it, unable to justify ₩2,500 more for the salmon. One notes there is usually a dish of the day going cheap. One writer advises reading the menu board in the shop rather than online — delivery and takeaway prices often differ, she says, by a few hundred won and sometimes a few thousand. Nobody calls it expensive, but only three call it cheap. One, comparing it with a rival chain, concludes that Greener charges more per bowl but puts more in it, so it comes out much the same.
• Thirteen call it clean, and the reason they give is usually the open kitchen — seventeen posts note that the whole operation is visible from the room. It makes you trust the place, says one; you can watch the hygiene for yourself, says another; freshness and cleanliness are the whole job in a salad shop, says a third. One writer noticed the cook in a beak-shaped mask. Then an October 2024 post reports three large flies in the room. She added that it might have been a one-off and that she would go back — and four months later the same writer did, and wrote that on several return visits there were none, so one must have come in from outside that day. The two posts belong together. A separate account of flies, from September 2025, is about a different branch and is not in our count.
