Glass Garden Seongsu is a rooftop bar on the fourth floor of a red-brick building, three minutes on foot from exit 8 at Ttukseom. What sets it apart is that things happen there in the evening — three of the six people who went saw a performance: a jazz set, a classical string duo, and a ticketed stand-up comedy night. Brunch and coffee by day; cocktails, highballs and wine after dark. Until 2025 it went by another name, and the phone number still ends in the year that name referred to. The posts we read run from April to September 2026.

What sets it apart
- There is live music at night — and the three who saw it saw three different things. One caught a jazz set at eight, an instrumental and two vocal numbers; one a classical string performance; one bought a ticket for a stand-up comedy night. A fourth writer only noticed the schedule on the wall. One says the weekly line-up goes up on the bar's Instagram; another found a monthly schedule in the room. We have not checked what runs when — look it up before you go.
- The fourth floor is part room, part roof. Four writers describe the outside: sky through the full-height glass, a breeze worth sitting in, an evening that was better for being out in it. There is an awning overhead — the writer at the comedy night watched the staff draw it when the air turned and open it again at the break. Another notes that hair ties and blankets are lent out. The roof does not seem to be open all year: a March review, quoted in one of the posts we excluded, mentions it being shut. None of our six was turned away from it, so we cannot say when that happens.
- One writer found it quiet, and says exactly why: she came for a second drink after somewhere else, two other tables were in, and it was easy to talk. She adds that there are plenty of tables. But this is a bar with a stage. Read her alongside the three who came for a performance and the quiet evenings and the loud ones look like different evenings. Only one post gives a start time — eight o'clock — so if you want the quiet one, come before that or check the schedule. That last inference is ours, not theirs.

Not one post says whether a wheelchair or a pushchair can get in — no step, no door width, nothing about the lavatory. What we have is the fourth floor and one writer's lift. One of the posts we excluded advises checking the stairs-or-lift situation in advance, but it was not written by anyone who went, so we have not counted it. Ring and ask.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 8 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Two of the eight posts we read were not written by anyone who went, and we removed them. One is a round-up of ten rooftop bars in which our place gets three lines — address, hours, two dishes. The other is the more careful case: it reads like a review but is a summary of the shop's own listing page. It recites other people's review statistics — how many rated it, how many said the interior was handsome — quotes other people's visits by date, and ends in an empty checklist: confirm your destination, confirm your transport, check the hours. It never says what was ordered, or when. Its prices come from the menu board, so we have not used them either. This page therefore counts six posts, not eight, and six posts means six people.
- The comedy night is not an ordinary evening out. One writer sets it out: ₩30,000 for two, an eight o'clock start, about two hours, and a one-order-per-person rule on top — soft drinks count. It is held on the roof; when the night turned cold the staff drew the awning across and opened it again at the interval, and blankets were handed round. Adults only, photographs yes, video no. A coupon picked up from a shop named in the programme takes a third off the ticket — which she learned too late. This is one person's account from May 2026; whether it still runs that way, we do not know.
- Nobody calls it expensive. Two writers address the price and both land on the same side. One, ordering a bottle of wine, was pleased that the cheapest was in the sixty-thousand range — the floor, not the average. The other writes that the prices are fine, the portions a little small, and that she counts the difference as what you pay for the setting. Hers is the only post to call a portion small. What we know: highballs ₩8,000–8,500; the tteokbokki and the chicken plate ₩19,000 each; alcohol-free drinks ₩15,000–17,000. The comedy ticket is separate, ₩30,000 for two.
- No two posts give the same hours. Of the six who went, two write them down and they do not agree: in May, Tuesday to Sunday, eleven to eleven, with one in the morning on Friday and Saturday; in September, half eleven to midnight on weekdays, to one on Saturday, to ten on Sunday. A July round-up we excluded offers a third version. Three sets of hours in five months. The only thing both of our two agree on is that it closes on Mondays, and that is all we have put in the table. Check before you go. Two mention that you can book through an app; none says they did.
- It is on the fourth floor, and exactly one writer says how she got up there — by lift, straight into the room. Whether there are stairs, how far the lift goes, whether the roof is another flight up: none of the six says. One post places the performance on the roof, which may mean another level again, but nobody writes it down. This is silence, not an assurance.
- Not one post says anything about the lavatory — whether it is inside the bar on the fourth floor or out in the building, whether men's and women's are separate. Six people wrote about this place and none of them mentions it, including the one who sat through a two-hour show on the roof. We do not know, which is not the same as there not being one.
- Nobody writes about stairs either. The bar is on the fourth floor, and all we have is one writer who took the lift. A performance is held on the roof, which may mean another flight up from there, but no one describes it. This is silence, not an assurance.
