FromFor is a made-to-order cake shop in a lane off Seoulsup's café street, three minutes from exit 5. You do not sit and eat here: you book, then collect. On set days it also sells a Dubai-chocolate cookie and pound-cake bars over the counter. Cakes start at ₩52,000 for the small, with size and flavour adding to that. What you buy can be eaten next door at Prunus Garden, and one post reports ten per cent off the coffee there with a FromFor receipt. The posts we read run from September 2024 to February 2026.

What sets it apart
- There is nowhere to sit. Six posts say it is takeaway only. One found the room so small that three people waiting filled it; another saw no seating at all. Two note the shop adjoins a café, Prunus Garden, where you may eat what you bought and where the outdoor tables are shared. One reports ten per cent off the coffee there on the day, with the receipt.
- Three posts were given something for a review — a miniature pound cake in two, a decorated candle in two (they overlap), and in one a gift bag valued at ₩8,000. None of the ten discloses sponsorship, but three received something for writing, which belongs in the same view.

Accounts of parking differ. Three say you may pull up briefly while collecting, one simply says there is parking, and one says there is none. Those who mention the brief stop add that longer parking means the public lots nearby, and name three. Collecting a cake is not a long errand, but we have not settled which account is right.
Getting there
Naver Map has a full English mode — Settings → Language → English. In Korea it gives better walking and transit directions than Google Maps.
Getting inside
No post says whether a wheelchair or a pushchair gets in. Two note the ground floor and that the lane makes it a little hard to find; none mentions a step at the door. One does say three people fill the room.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 13 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The opening days kept changing. Check before you go. The ten posts give different schedules, and laid out by date they look like changes rather than disagreements: three days a week in September 2024; closed Mondays with Tuesday to Thursday for collection only in November 2024; Tuesday to Saturday plus a short Sunday by July 2025; Tuesday to Sunday by September; Friday to Sunday with collection-only midweek by January 2026; and a different pattern again in February. Several agree on Monday closing, and two add the fourth Sunday. The cookie has its own days.
- The Dubai cookie is sold on set days, four to a customer. Two posts say Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; one says Friday to Sunday — this too moves with the date. One gives noon as the hour, another half past eleven. It is a limited batch and stops when it stops; two note sell-outs are posted on Naver. It is ₩8,200, which one writer measures against a cookie smaller than their palm.
- Four posts call it expensive. The signature cake starts at ₩52,000 for the small; medium adds ₩20,000, large ₩40,000, and the Dubai-chocolate filling another ₩15,000. One writer calls the cookie price frightening; another says that at that price it had better be good. None calls it cheap.
- Three of the thirteen are not visits to this shop. One is about the café next door, where the writer sat and drank coffee — the check-in says FromFor, but nothing was bought here and there is nowhere to sit. One is a round-up of places selling the cookie, which credits its photographs to the shop's own Instagram. The third is a birthday dinner elsewhere, with a FromFor cake carried to it; we counted the cake on the menu but not the shop.
- Not one of the ten mentions a toilet. In a shop with no seating that is unsurprising — but if you plan to eat next door, that is where to ask.
- Only two posts touch on queueing, and they pull apart. One bought without waiting at four on a Saturday — and is the same writer who says three people waiting fill the room. The other timed their arrival for noon, when the cookies go out. If the cookie is the point, the sensible reading is to check the day and hour and go early; but that is us reasoning, not anyone's report.
- No post describes the floor. Ground level comes from the address; two writers say the white building down the lane is a little hard to find, but none says whether there is a step to the door.
- Few posts say who they came with. With nowhere to sit, most are one person collecting a cake, and five say who it was for — a colleague about to marry, a husband's birthday, a friend's bridal shower. This is a shop where the writing records who the cake was for rather than who ate it.
