Etba is a small Italian-style espresso bar tucked into an alley off Wangsimni-ro 5-gil in Seongsu, a walk from Ttukseom Station. People come for small cups: the house espresso at 3,800 won, con panna at 4,500 won, and the Positano — espresso over lemon slush. What sets it apart
- The outdoor seating matters here: 11 of the 23 visit posts mention the terrace or outdoor tables. One parent ended up outside because of noisy twins, another stayed out with a stroller, and a January writer gave up on it because of the cold. One post notes the terrace sits inside the parking area, so no cars pass by.
- It is cramped inside. Nine posts say the room is small and none call it roomy; four put the indoor seating at about seven spots. A March writer says you nearly have to perch on the next table to reach an inner chair, and a May writer left early because of chair-scraping and camera shutters nearby. A September writer, though, found the high window table set apart and quiet enough to read.
- Three posts (January and April 2026) say a mini financier came with the espresso or macchiato; one writer was stopped by staff from ordering a second one. Several mention sugar sitting at the bottom of the cup to stir in, and one notes it is sweetened by default.

You can park, but space is tight. Two writers who drove say the lot is shared with the building, would be full with four or five cars, and held five including theirs at 10:30; staff gave a token or parking validation on the way out. Five other posts only say parking is available, without having used it, so we don't count them.

Getting inside
No one describes which floor it is on from experience; the address says ground floor, but that is the registered address, not something a visitor reported.
Nobody says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair can get in. One parent with a stroller drank on the terrace rather than going inside, so we don't know whether a stroller fits.
No post says where the toilet is or whether it is inside the shop — not that there isn't one, just that nobody mentioned it.

Of the 26 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waits vary. One post says they waited briefly at the door on a cold Sunday in January; three say there was no wait — on a holiday afternoon (though seats were nearly gone), at noon on a weekday, and after the lunch hour. One writer heard from other customers that there is usually a line; we don't count that.
- Opening hours differ from post to post, and every one is copied from a listing. All thirteen agree on 8:00 on weekdays and 10:00 at weekends. Weekday closing is 18:00 in six posts (April–July 2026), 19:00 in four (January, February, June, September), 16:00 in two from September (with weekends to 18:00), and 20:00 in one. Four say it closes on Tuesdays, one says Mondays. Check before you go.
- Opinions on price split one to one: a September writer found it generally pricier than a nearby espresso bar (6,500 won for an iced latte), while a May writer called it fair for Seongsu. Visit posts list espresso at 3,800 won, con panna at 4,500 won and americano at 5,500 won.
- Five posts walked from Ttukseom Station (about 4 to 7 minutes from exit 8). Two found it hard to spot in the alley, and one advises heading further in past another café shown on the map. No one came by bus.
- Four posts give the same phone number, 0507-1491-1296. None say whether it takes reservations; one copied note says private hire and group orders go through Instagram DM or phone.
- We counted only this address. An August 2026 pop-up in Seongnam and mentions of a second branch at Art Sonje Center and a hanok branch in Bukchon are left out. Three formulaic info posts are also not counted, and one post from a catering company's blog embeds an Instagram post tagged as sponsored.
