A donut café on the ground floor of the Galleria Foret arcade, right at the edge of Seoul Forest. Cream-filled donuts made fresh each morning and sold the same day, mostly ₩4,400. It opens at eight and closes at nine — ten writers give the same hours — and being unusually early for this neighbourhood, it gets used after a run, after a walk, as brunch. You order at a kiosk and fetch water and cutlery from the self-service bar. There are window seats looking into the park and outdoor tables under parasols. What is not in the display case can still be ordered if the kiosk has not marked it sold out — four writers note this separately, and it is the most useful thing to know here. Most people arrive after a walk, an exhibition or a wedding upstairs; several say outright that it was not where they had been heading.

What sets it apart
- Judge by the display case and you may walk away for nothing. Orders go through a kiosk, and what is on show is not what is available. Four writers say so independently: one nearly left on seeing a single donut in the case, then read the notice on the kiosk; another was told anything not marked sold out can be made; a third simply advises checking the order screen for the flavour you want. The popular ones do go early, so the choice is widest in the morning. There are kiosks inside and out, with a language option. You enter a phone number and they message you on KakaoTalk — one writer, watching the foreign visitor ahead of her stall for want of a Korean number, registered her own on his behalf. Water, forks and napkins are self-service.
- It looks small from the street and opens up inside — and that is where writers disagree. Two call it tight: an L-shaped run of tables, not much room, one of them lucky to find the last seat. Four changed their minds on walking in — there seemed to be few seats from outside, and rather more once inside; the U-shaped room holds more than expected; there is seating behind. The seats differ in kind: bar stools at the window looking into the park, and cushioned chairs at the back for staying longer. Eight writers single out the window. Eight also mention the outdoor tables, under white parasols, and one reports most customers sitting outside rather than in. On a wet day, though, two writers — both of whom ducked in out of the rain — preferred watching it from inside.

Nobody writes about wheelchair or pushchair access. None of the twenty-one mentions a ramp or a step. One does note that it sits on the arcade's ground floor and has a second entrance from inside the building, which suggests an indoor approach — but whether there is a step, we do not know. Another reports plenty of couples and mothers with children in the room. Call 0507-1355-8909.

What we do not know
- Of the thirty posts we read, nine were excluded from the count. Four are write-ups shaped as "the good points?" and "FAQ" with nothing about what the writer ate — one of them gives the hours as 10:00–22:00 when ten others say 08:00–21:00. Three are the same commissioned text in three versions, posted within two days in January 2025: the sentences differ, the story does not, down to buying a four-box as a new-year gift for an animal shelter. One person's afternoon became three posts, so we kept one. Two more are one writer posting the same visit to Tistory and to Naver, and one had the branch name in the title and the Suwon original in the body. Three posts that disclose payment remain in the count, all from January 2025, each opening with a line saying a fee was received. Declared, so nothing is hidden — but their praise should not carry the same weight as the other eighteen. Four posts declare they paid their own way. The television appearance is not something we verified. Four writers repeat that it was on a SBS programme, all of them saying they looked it up. One writer, though, reports seeing a group of television personalities in the room — that one we counted. Parking comes with conditions. You use the Galleria Foret car park, and two writers actually received the validation: two hours free on spending ₩20,000 or more — easily met by four drinks, she notes, but two people would need to add a dessert — and one who had her overstay at a nearby office extended by buying here. The same writer warns the threshold and the hours may change, so confirm when you pay. Lines that merely say "free parking" we did not count. One writer found shortened hours — a notice giving 20:30 as closing, in August 2026. Nobody records a closing day. The misses stay on the record too: the green tea cream tasted of little but sugar, the black sesame came out dry, the injeolmi tasted of flour, and the watermelon juice arrives with three pumps of syrup. A regular sums the range up as much of a muchness, and all of it fine.
- You use the arcade's toilets. One writer notes that there is a second entrance from inside Galleria Foret, which makes reaching them convenient — meaning they are not in the shop. Another post's information line says the toilets are separated by sex. Those two are the only mentions, and they are not describing the same thing, so we do not know which holds.
- Nobody reports queueing. None of the twenty-one waited; what they record instead is how much the room varies — quiet at seven on a Sunday evening, busy on a rainy afternoon, empty on arrival and full by the time one writer left, and one finding exactly one table free. One calls it a prime spot that must fill completely in cherry-blossom season — and we have no post from that season. The donuts run out before the seats do: three writers note the popular flavours sell out early.
- Nobody writes about floors. The address is unit 102 on the arcade's ground floor and the twenty-one posts say no more. Not one mentions an upstairs or any stairs. What we know of the building: a wedding hall two floors below, and a fried-chicken place two doors along. For what it is worth, the Suwon original is described as a four-storey building with a lift — but that was the post we excluded for being about a different branch.
