청담순대국 Cheongdam is written on the sign with the characters for 'clear' and 'pond'; sundaeguk is Korean blood-sausage soup.

Compiled from 7 blog posts read in fullSources →

A sundaeguk shop on the ground floor of the Shinhan IT Tower, right by Exit 5 of Ttukseom Station. The house soup uses only pork cheek meat, and posts from 2026 list every sundaeguk at 11,000 won. You order from a kiosk at the table and fetch kimchi, radish kimchi and pickled onion from a self-serve bar. We read 9 posts from November 2025 to October 2026; one was about a different shop of the same name in Cheongdam-dong, leaving 8 actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Side dishes are self-serve. Five posts went back to the bar for more, mentioning pickled onions in soy (one called them a real treat) and chopped hot peppers. Scallions, chili paste, salted shrimp and perilla powder sit on every table.
  2. Food comes fast. Four posts said the soup arrived quickly, and none said it was slow.
  3. Four posts said it is close to Exit 5 of Ttukseom Station, about a minute's walk. One said it is easy to find on the ground floor along the main road.
  4. The broth comes lightly seasoned. Three posts said it was not salty, and one noted it arrives unsalted so you season it with salted shrimp or salt.

  1. Five posts called the room spacious. One listed tables for two, four and six, and two noticed many people eating alone.

Parking

2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park2 of 7 posts

Two posts parked in the building's underground garage; one said the first hour is free, and another warned the entrance is confusing. A third described local parking as tight with one hour covered at a paid lot, so posts differ on whether it is free or validated.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 7 posts read)

One post described the shop as being on the ground floor facing the main road. Nobody said whether there are steps inside.

No post said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that there is a barrier.

No post described the restroom from experience. Separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in a copied info block, which we did not count.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • One post waited: at a January lunch peak they queued inside because it was too cold outside, and the line moved fast. Posts that went after 1 pm on a weekday, in the early evening, or at 8 pm mention no wait. A claim that there are lunch lines was hearsay and we did not count it.
  • Prices went up. A July 2025 visit paid 10,000 won for the house soup; posts from January 2026 on list 11,000 won, and one notes everything rose by 1,000 won. A meal is basically one bowl, with the pressed-pork set adding 4,000 won.
  • Opinions split on the spicy version: one post found it surprisingly hot with all the paste in, another found it mild and added more chili.
  • Company is not settled: one post went with a friend, one drove, one went with coworkers before a late shift, and the rest didn't say.
  • Seven posts give identical hours: Mon–Sat 8:00–21:50, break 15:50–17:00, last order 21:30, closed Sundays. Most of these are copied info blocks rather than checked by the writers.
  • Three posts give the same phone number, 0507-1371-6995. Reservations are mentioned only in a copied info block; no one said they booked.
  • One post (a July 2025 visit) bit a small bone fragment in the soup and cracked a molar. No other post reported this.
