Boire is a wine bar on the second floor of a building in a lane off Seongdeokjeong 3-gil, between Seoul Forest and Ttukseom stations. An owner-chef and an owner-sommelier run it, and it opens only in the evening. People come for pasta, carpaccio, herb-butter turban shell and beef tenderloin with wine; nine posts ordered the course for two. Where prices were given: aglio olio 19,000 won, sweet-shrimp pasta and gnocchi 24,000, risotto and halibut carpaccio 28,000, tenderloin 68,000, and one post put the set for two at about 118,000. One weekday diner paid 67,000 won for gnocchi, aglio olio and two glasses of alcohol-free wine. Many visits were birthdays or anniversaries. What sets it apart
- There is a curtained-off area. Six posts describe a room-like space screened by a curtain or partition; one says there is no fully separate room, only a partitioned group table. One post booked it specifically through CatchTable, and one copied a menu note that it requires a bottle order.
- Opinions on size split: 3 posts found it roomy, 4 said it is small or compact. Both camps agree the tables are well spaced, so you don't overhear neighbours. Those who counted tables found six or seven.

It is upstairs: 10 posts describe climbing to the second floor. One says you have to go up a flight of stairs, and another explains the 'right-hand white door' in the address — first-timers can't find the entrance. No post mentions a lift.
We don't know whether a wheelchair or pram can get in. No post mentions a step at the door or a lift — not that there isn't one, just that nobody wrote about it. Posts do describe taking stairs to the second floor.
The toilet is inside the restaurant, according to 3 posts. One had worried about having to use a ground-floor toilet; another says it's to the right of the entrance and has a full-length mirror. Nobody said whether it is split by gender.

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes waiting. One was seated straight away on a weekday evening; another found it quiet at 6:30 and nearly full by 7. Nobody said what happens if you turn up without a booking on a Friday or Saturday night.
- All 15 posts that list hours give 17:00–24:00, and 11 say it closes on Sundays. Last order is 21:30 in six posts and 22:00 in one. One post says Tuesday to Sunday, and another found it closed on the Monday they visited. Most of this is copied from the listing. It is normally dinner only; one post describes a lunch course offered just for Christmas 2025.
- Several posts give the same booking phone number, 0507-1432-0632. A few copied house notes: phone bookings from 3 pm, at most three tables per half-hour slot, a 2 hour 20 minute limit when full, and 30,000 won corkage per bottle after you buy one from the list.
- The carpaccio fish changes with the season — yellowtail in the December 2025 post, halibut or sea bream from May to September 2026. One post says a course dish was swapped for that day's catch.
- Of the 30 posts, one discloses sponsorship and five say the writer paid. Two clusters repeat the same phrases — a May 2026 group ('WSET Level 3', 'premium South African wines') and a June–July group ('lovingly crafted by the sommelier and owner-chef', '150 wines'). We treated that wording as the restaurant's own copy, not evidence, and did not count two wine-magazine articles that involve no meal.
