VERO

베로 Bero Vero is Italian for 'true' or 'real' — one post says the name was taken from 'davvero', 'truly'.

Compiled from 5 blog posts read in fullSources →

An Italian trattoria on the second floor of 20-1 Seoulsup 4-gil, serving pasta made from fresh dough. Prices in the visit posts: carbonara 18,000 won, gnocchi 19,000, lasagna 24,000, flat-iron steak 40,000. Four of the five visit posts ordered the lasagna. Three posts say it ran in Hanam Misa before moving here around July 2025. We read 19 posts dated 27 July 2025 to 4 October 2026; 5 are visits to this place. We set aside 12 that were other places sharing the name (Vero Coffee in Mapo, Cafe Vero in Gangneung, Verona in Euljiro) or a dog's or a wine's name.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Three posts mention the windows: one sat at a window seat, one describes large windows on every side letting in daylight, and one watched the tree-lined Seongsu street through the glass while her husband parked.
  2. Two posts say the kitchen is in view: from the green-tiled bar seats you watch the chef cook right in front of you, and another enjoyed seeing the cooking through a partly open layout. One post adds the bar seats would suit a solo lunch.

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is rajanya (볼로녜제 라구 라자냐) — 4 of 5 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Second floor1 of 5 posts

It is on the second floor, and two posts say the entrance is easy to miss: one says it is beside a blue door in the passage between the ground-floor Iridescent cafe and Paper Garden restaurant, from which you go up; the other says you have to walk around the left side of the building.

One post confirms from its visit that it is on the second floor. No one mentions any basement or other-floor seating.

No visit post says whether you reach the second floor by stairs or lift, or whether there is a step at the door. We do not know if a pushchair or wheelchair can get in — even the post written by a family with a baby says nothing about it.

No visit post mentions the toilets. The interior contractor's post says the toilet and powder room were built separately, but that is not a diner's account, so we do not rely on it.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 7 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Three posts (visits in July, August and September 2025) say it moved here from Hanam Misa. Every visit post we read is from after the move, so nothing about the Misa shop is mixed in.
  • One post was given a free omija drink, but that was in July 2025, days after opening; an August 2025 post mentions a free glass of wine while stocks lasted. Both were opening-period offers, and we do not know whether they continue.
  • One post says dogs on a leash are allowed, but it reports this as something it was told; no post says it actually brought a dog.
  • One post lists Ttukseom Station exit 8, about a seven-minute walk, but in an information box rather than from the walk itself. No one describes the route.
  • No visit post mentions waiting for a table. That does not mean there is no wait — only that no one wrote about it.
  • Two posts came with friends and one with family and a baby. No visit post says it was a date.
  • Three posts give the same opening hours: 11:30 to 22:00, closed 16:00-17:00, last order 21:00, closed Mondays. All three are information boxes, not times anyone checked in person.
  • Dish prices are given, but no post says what the whole meal cost, and no one gives a wine price.
  • Only one post lists a phone number, and none says whether it booked or whether bookings are taken.
