Gomguksijip
곰국시집 Guksi is a regional word for guksu (noodles) and gom points to gomguk, a long-simmered beef broth, so the name reads roughly as 'the beef-broth noodle house'.

A second-floor restaurant at 24 Mugyo-ro in Mugyo-dong, Seoul, serving Korean beef brisket suyuk and a noodle hot pot. Several posts describe the same order of play: eat the brisket, then order the hot pot, which staff cook at the table and divide into bowls, and finish with rice porridge made in the leftover broth. The hot pot is 22,000 won a serving, the brisket 61,000 won (41,000 won small), and gomguksu noodle soup 14,000 won. We read 20 posts dated March 18 to October 7, 2026; 14 record an actual meal. Three were about other restaurants and set aside, and three were list entries or general write-ups that we did not count.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You don't touch the hot pot yourself. Ten of the 14 meal posts say staff cook it at the table and serve it out. One quotes a companion's warning not to lay a finger on it because the servers handle everything; two describe the ladle pressing the noodles into a neat round in each bowl. Two say that when brisket was still on the table, the pot was cooked at a neighbouring table and brought over in portions. Staff ask how spicy you want it: one diner said yes to spicy and got heaps of chili flakes and garlic, while another found the red broth not hot at all.
- Booking helps at lunch. Four posts either booked ahead or recommend doing so; one says they'd have been stuck without a reservation, and one says there is a wait on weekday lunchtimes. No post says how many minutes.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 4 of 13 posts |

| Toilet inside | 1 of 13 posts |
The dining room is upstairs. Four meal posts went up to the second floor, and one says the restaurant runs both the second and third floors. Five call the space large; one mentions generous gaps between tables and another a bigger hall further in.
Four posts put it on the second floor; none mention a basement. One says the third floor is also used, but no one reports sitting there.
No post says whether the second floor is reached by stairs or a lift, or whether there is a step at the entrance. That doesn't mean there isn't one; nobody wrote about it. No one mentions going in with a wheelchair or stroller.
One post says the restroom is inside the restaurant, and another lists the same in a copied info block. Nobody says whether it is split by gender or how big it is.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 16 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Several posts flag the prices. The 22,000-won hot pot is the same in April and September 2026 posts; two call it expensive, one saying the price is steep for what you get. A third says it is pricey but hasn't gone up much in years, so it felt fair. The 61,000-won brisket comes from two posts that don't give the size; the small was 41,000 won. No post gives a per-person bill.
- Opening hours here come only from blocks copied into posts. Six say it opens at 11:00 with a break from 14:00 to 17:00, and five agree it is closed Sundays. Five give 21:00 as closing; one says 20:00 on weekdays. Two say Saturdays close at 20:00 with the break starting at 14:30. Two give last orders as 13:20 for lunch and 20:20 for dinner, so lunch service ends early. One says public-holiday hours vary.
- Only one post describes getting there by subway: about a five-minute walk from City Hall or Gwanghwamun station. Others just place it by the Seoul Finance Center or above an Olive Young store.
- One post says there is a wait at weekday lunch, but nobody gives a time. A June 2026 post passes on hearsay that customers have dropped off lately.
- Three posts went with friends and one drove; the rest just mention work companions or a lunch appointment. No post went with children or family.
- Five posts give the same phone number, 02-756-3249. Posts say reservations are taken, but none describes booking by phone themselves.
- The Myeongdong and Lotte World Mall branches with the same name, and the sister restaurant Gomjakso in Gran Seoul, are separate places. One post heard the Myeongdong branch has a different owner, but that is hearsay. The 1976 founding date and '50 years' claims are repeated from elsewhere, not verified.
