Choeseondo
최선도 Choeseondo is said to mean 'reaching what is best and finest'; one writer also reads the seondo in the name as the freshness of the meat.

Choeseondo is an aged-pork grill on the ground floor of the Brighton Yeouido arcade, across from The Hyundai Seoul. Staff grill everything for you, over a fire fed with dried corn kernels. The neck, skirt and belly platter (500g) was 61,000 won in posts up to July 2026 and 64,000 won from August; one table of four paid 204,000 won for two platters plus drinks, noodles and fried rice, and another writer put it at about 50,000 won a head. Most tables finished with the beef-tendon doenjang stew (ordered in 10 posts) or the cold pollack noodles (9). We read 29 posts dated 27 April to 17 October 2026; 24 of them record an actual meal.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- 22 of the 24 meal posts say staff did all the grilling. Nine say the meat arrives par-grilled, and several mention that you can ask to see the raw cut at the table first. Pork skin is grilled wrapped in foil. One writer found the server who grilled for them uncomfortably attentive, staring at their friend whenever they spoke.
- Ten posts say you order on a tablet or kiosk at the table. One adds that meat must be ordered per head and that the menu online differs slightly from the one in the shop.
- Ten posts mention a hand-washing basin by the entrance or counter, usually alongside fabric deodoriser for the smell of the grill.
- There are no private rooms. Two posts say so from their own visit — booths along the wall instead — and others copy the shop's notice saying the same. Several booked ahead to get one of the wall booths.
2 more
- It is not a quiet room: four posts call it loud or boisterous, two found it calmer than expected for a full house. One summer visitor said the inner tables ran warm.
- Three posts saw celebrity and YouTuber autographs on the wall; claims of famous regulars that writers only heard about are not counted.

Parking
4 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is in the Brighton officetel and arcade garage. Four posts drove; one found the garage roomy, with validation done at the restaurant. Another warns you must park on B1 — they first parked on B4 and had to move. The '2 hours free, then 1,000 won per 10 minutes' figure is copied from the shop's listing.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
2 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 4 (of 24 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 1 of 24 posts |
Four posts place it on the ground floor from their own visit (via the Building 103 entrance, near the escalator), and one says to take the Building 103 lift up from the garage.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in — not because there isn't access, but because no one wrote about it.
We don't know whether the toilet is inside the restaurant. 'Separate men's and women's toilets' appears only in one post's copy of the shop listing; nobody wrote from their own visit.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waiting is mixed. Two posts waited: about 20 minutes on a Monday around 7pm, and under 15 minutes with one party ahead on a Saturday around 7pm. Two others walked straight in (a weekday evening, a weekend lunch). One recommends booking because of queues without saying they queued. Six posts booked ahead, and two were told seating is limited to two hours.
- Two posts say it is an easy walk from Exit 4 of Yeouinaru Station. The '421m from Exit 4' line is copied from the listing; a roundup claiming 'one minute from Yeouido Station Exit 3' is not a visit and we did not count it.
- Two posts came with children; in one the kids ate all the grilled corn and the family ordered more vegetables. High chairs appear only in a copied listing.
- Prices have gone up. The house platter was 61,000 won in posts through July 2026 and 64,000 won from August. A single post from October shows belly at 20,000 won (19,000 on April and June menus) and cold noodles at 10,000 won (9,000 in May). Three posts call it pricey; one thought the per-100g price was good value.
- Opening hours are nearly all copied from the listing. Twelve posts give weekdays 11:00–22:00 and weekends 12:00–22:00, eleven give last orders at 21:00, and none mention a break. Two say 11:00–22:00 every day and one splits Monday–Thursday from Friday–Sunday, so check the weekend opening time. No post mentions a closing day.
- Thirteen posts give the phone number 0507-1491-0764 (one copied 070-8656-0592). Bookings go through Naver, CatchTable or Tabling; the shop's note that groups of eight or more should call is widely copied.
- None of the 29 posts discloses sponsorship; six say they paid their own way. Several paste the review-count widget or the shop's own blurb verbatim. We did not count three roundup or itinerary posts with no meal, nor one built only from public listing data, and dropped one post about the gelato shop in the same building.
