Jinsei Ramen is a tsukemen shop on the second floor of a red-brick building at 186 Seongmisan-ro, Yeonnam-dong. Basic tsukemen is 12,000 won, spicy tsukemen 13,000 won, and the niboshi tonkotsu and niboshi shoyu soup ramen 11,000 won; no dish includes an egg, which costs 1,000 won extra. You order at a kiosk by the door before being seated, and pickles and water are self-serve. A kelp-water (konbusui) tsukemen was added in mid-August 2026, according to one post. What sets it apart
- Expect a wait. Thirteen posts say they waited and two walked straight in. Recorded waits were 5 minutes, 5-10, 10, 30, a little over 40, an hour, and an hour and 40 minutes; one party registered on CatchTable at 1:55 pm on a Sunday and got in at 3:35. Remote queueing on CatchTable is available, and your whole party must be present to enter. One summer visitor noted there is nowhere proper to wait.
- It isn't counter-only. Twelve posts describe an L-shaped counter around the kitchen plus tables; those who counted found two four-seat tables and one two-seat table. A solo diner was seated at the counter, and one couple got counter seats faster than a table.
- Saltiness splits evenly: six posts found it salty, six found it fine, and one didn't settle. 'Saltier than I expected' and 'I liked that it wasn't too salty' were said of the same tsukemen. The konbusui writer found that version less salty than the regular one.
- Six posts say the open kitchen lets you watch the noodles being boiled and plated; some spotted a noodle machine and flour sacks inside.

It is upstairs. Eleven posts mention the second floor, reached by an outside staircase; one called the stairs narrow and another said both stairs and entrance are cramped. One visitor walked right past it.
No one wrote about wheelchair or stroller access or a step at the door, so we don't know. One post's info box lists an elevator, but it was copied, and others describe climbing an outside staircase.

What we do not know
- Whether it feels roomy splits two to two: some found it spacious for a ramen shop, others a bit cramped.
- Opening hours mostly come from copied listings. Most give Tuesday-Saturday 11:30-20:30 with a 15:00-17:00 break (last orders 14:30 and 20:00), Sunday 11:30-17:00 (last order 16:30), closed Mondays. One post lists Friday-Saturday until 23:00 and another includes Monday.
- Seven posts list the phone number 0507-1396-5215, but no one booked by phone; what writers describe is CatchTable queueing, remote or on site.
- An October 14, 2026 post says the central fixtures were cleared to add another four-seat table, so earlier table counts may be out of date. Another writer notes the soup ramen went from one option to three since a first visit.
