Giun is a charcoal pork house on the ground floor of Dogok-ro 7-gil, about ten minutes' walk from Gangnam Station exit 4, near Yeoksam Elementary and Sunbogeum Gangnam Church. The signature is pork belly aged on the rib bone (19,000 won for 200 g); mixed sets run 58,000 to 60,000 won. Staff load charcoal into a clay brazier beside the table and grill the vegetables, white kimchi and meat in turn; most diners finished with doenjang rice soup (8,000 won) or doenjang stew (7,000 won). We read 21 posts from 11 August to 22 October 2026; 18 record an actual meal. Two were unrelated horoscope posts and one was a single line in a long restaurant list.

What sets it apart
- Fifteen of the 18 visit posts say staff grilled everything from start to finish. One lists the order: vegetables, then rib belly, neck and gabrisal. Grilled leek goes into the soy dipping sauce, white kimchi or aged kimchi is charred on the grill too, and finished meat is laid on top of the water parsley and fernbrake. Several posts say staff suggested the first piece with pink salt.
- Nine posts call it quiet, for two reasons: it sits down a side street away from Gangnam's main strip, and tall partitions separate the tables. One notes the four-seat sofa booths have high dividers and the extractor hood sits off to one side, so it doesn't block the person opposite.
- Many posts repeat that corkage is free, but only two describe seeing it: one watched the next table drinking spirits they had brought, another saw diners with several bottles of their own wine. We did not count the rest, which are hearsay or copied info. The house itself sells Asahi draught, wine, whisky and highballs.

More than ten posts say there is no dedicated parking, almost all in a copied info block. One post actually drove, parked at the Yeoksam 1-dong community centre public lot and walked about eight minutes. One post claimed in-building parking; it contradicts the rest, so we did not count it.

Only one post mentions the floor from experience, saying it is on the ground floor facing the road and easy to find. The rest only have '1st floor' in the address.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That means we don't know, not that it can't.
Only one post mentions the toilet, and only secondhand: they were told it is outside the restaurant, with one cubicle each for men and women. Nobody describes using it, so we did not count it.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waiting is split. One Friday-evening visitor saw people queuing outside, though by the time they went in they only waited for a table to be cleared. A Saturday 7 pm visitor walked straight in. With one post each way, we can't say which is typical. Naver and CatchTable booking are mentioned only as copied info.
- One post says their meat went to two tables that arrived later, and staff called it a mistake both times. No other post reports this.
- Four posts say they came by subway. Most put it about 10 minutes, or 10 to 12, from Gangnam exit 4; one post alone says 3 to 5. Another says Yangjae exit 3 is also about ten minutes away. One post lists the distance from the main strip as the only drawback and advises allowing extra time.
- Of the posts that say who they went with, four went with friends, three with family (a mother, a younger sibling) and two with a partner. Many recommend it for work dinners or wedding-invitation gatherings, but none describe going as a large group themselves; two only saw office groups at nearby tables.
- Sixteen posts give opening hours, all in copied info blocks. Most agree: weekdays 16:00 to 23:00 (last order 22:00), weekends 12:00 to 22:00 (last order 21:00), with three saying there is no regular closing day. One post says 16:00 to 23:00 every day and one lists weekdays as Tuesday to Friday. There is no weekday lunch.
- Posts agree closely on prices: sets 58,000 to 60,000 won, single cuts of 150 to 200 g at 18,000 to 20,000 won. One couple paid 70,000 won for a set plus stew, rice and a drink. Jowl is the exception, 19,000 won in an August 2026 post and 20,000 won in two October posts, so it may have gone up in between. One post lists a 49,000-won 'special set' no one else mentions. Three posts call it good value.
- Six posts give the same phone number, 0507-1355-7047. Claims that bookings go through Naver or CatchTable, that groups of five or more must phone, and that there is a 4-to-6-person private room with a 20,000-won charge are all hearsay or copied info; no post confirms them firsthand.
- Fifteen of the 18 visit posts fall between 6 and 22 October 2026 and look alike: the same info table at the top and 'Gangnam Station meat restaurant' repeated in nearly every sentence. One post lets slip that the writer was an invited reviewer. None discloses sponsorship; two say they paid themselves.
