AC Kitchen
AC 키친 AC Kichin AC Kitchen is the all-day dining room of the AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul Gangnam — AC is the hotel brand's name and kitchen is simply the English word.
Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →
AC Kitchen is the buffet restaurant on the second floor of the AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul Gangnam, a short walk from exit 4 of Yeoksam Station. Weekday lunch (11:30-14:00) is a steak-and-seafood buffet at 95,000 won per adult, without lobster; weekday dinner and weekend/holiday lunch is the unlimited-lobster buffet at 150,000 won. Draft beer and wine are included at every sitting, and mid-meal the staff bring a noodle dish such as udon or tantanmen to each table. We read 30 posts dated 7 December 2025 to 20 October 2026. Twenty-three record an actual meal; two Christmas-cake pickups and two hotel-stay or information posts only describe the place and were not counted. Three posts about the 21st-floor rooftop bar or the hotel itself were set aside as not about this restaurant.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Drinks cost nothing extra: 17 of the 23 meal posts say they drank, or could drink, wine. Red, white and sparkling stand out in bottles, each labelled with sweetness and body notes. A sign limits each guest to two glasses, but writers say there is no limit on refills.
- Fourteen posts mention draft beer. From July 2026 writers list three self-serve taps — Budweiser, Sangsang Pale Ale and Mocha Stout; one early-June post saw only two, Budweiser and Hand and Malt. Non-alcoholic beer and canned soft drinks are also out.
- Seven posts say they booked ahead. Naver booking takes 10% off the adult price, and one writer who booked was shown straight to a set table without waiting. Another notes that window seats are not guaranteed by booking — they go to whoever arrives first.
- Five posts say they paid a discounted price: 50% for the birthday guest plus 10% for companions (one writer took her mother for her birthday this way), 50% for hotel guests (75,000 won for dinner), and 10% for Naver bookings.

- Opinions split on size: four posts call it roomy, four call it small or 'cosier than expected', and two say it is small but well laid out without settling either way. Read together, it is smaller than the big hotel buffets and less crowded for it.
- Five posts mention the floor-to-ceiling windows and daylight, though others warn that the view is of neighbouring office buildings.

One post describes using the valet: hand the car over at the entrance, pay 5,000 won after the meal, and it is brought to the door. Rates such as '5,000 won for the first 180 minutes, then 1,000 won per 10 minutes' are mostly copied notices, and one post says the first three hours are free, so check the terms.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Nobody wrote about steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. Posts do say you take the lobby elevator up to the second floor. This means we don't know, not that access is lacking.
Nobody described the restroom from experience. 'Separate men's and women's toilets' appears only in copied listing data, which we did not count.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Two posts say the meat is not cooked to order — it is roasted ahead and kept warm, and one found it lukewarm and dried out. Several others note that a server carves the joints in front of you on request.
- Few posts talk about the staff: one found the servers offering udon friendly; another found the counter staff curt but the server clearing plates kind — that writer says she will not return.
- No post describes queuing; one writer who had booked was seated without waiting. Another arrived at the 18:00 weekday-dinner opening and found it already busy with reservations. We don't know how long a walk-in waits.
- Opening hours agree across many posts: breakfast 06:30-10:00, weekday lunch 11:30-14:00, weekend and holiday lunch 12:00-14:30, dinner daily 18:00-21:00 — mostly copied from the restaurant's own listing. The stated morning break varies between 10:00-11:30 and 10:00-12:00. Two posts say it opens every day.
- Prices are identical in every post from June to October 2026: weekday lunch 95,000 won per adult and 50,000 per child; dinner and weekend lunch 150,000 and 80,000, tax included. Writers broadly agree it is a lot for one meal — one says it is hard to call it a bargain at 150,000 won, but the free drinks, lamb and desserts make it reasonable — and they advise going with a discount. In July and August there was a 50% children's promotion.
- Bookings are taken through Naver, CatchTable or by phone (02-2050-6034); six posts give the same number.
- Four August 2026 posts carry the same 'Summer Kids Festa' and Chuseok to-go copy without saying whether they were sponsored; one June post states it was given a meal voucher. Eight posts say the writer paid.
