A Western-style (gyeongyangsik) pork cutlet house on the Namsan donkatsu strip at Sopa-ro 97, Jung-gu, just below the Namsan cable car station; the sign reads "Infinite Challenge Wang Donkatsu". The big flattened cutlet comes sauced on one plate with rice, salad and fries, while soup, radish kimchi, mild peppers and ssamjang are self-serve. Posts from late September 2026 put the plain cutlet at 12,500 won and the cheese one at 14,500 won; there are also pastas, pizzas and hamburg steak. You now order and pay first on a tablet at each table, and posts from June 2026 on describe eating in a ground-floor hall. Through 2025, posts described a second-floor hall up a staircase, with the ground floor used for parking. We read 30 posts dated November 2024 to October 2026; 22 of them record actually eating here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Eleven posts call the crust crisp. Even though the sauce is poured on, one writer found the crunch held up through the meal; another summed it up as crisp outside, moist inside. One October 2026 visitor noticed a faint burnt taste.
  2. Seven posts went back to the self-serve bar for more soup and sides — kimchi refilled again and again, soup twice; a November 2025 post says rice was unlimited too. Two posts say the first round of sides is brought to the table, and drinks are taken from the cooler yourself after paying. Several posts repeat that the radish kimchi and sauce are made in-house, but that is hearsay and we don't count it.
  3. Nine posts, all from June 2026 on, ordered and paid on a tablet at the table. A POS vendor wrote that it installed table ordering and a waitlist kiosk at the entrance in December 2025; a November 2024 post only mentions paying up front.
  4. Twelve posts, all after the remodel (June 2026 on), call the place clean — white walls, sofa seating to lean back on; seven call it spacious. An August 2025 post found it run-down and not very clean, but that was the old second-floor room, so we don't count it toward today.
3 more
  1. Nine posts say the portions are big — one says a single cutlet was enough for two to share, and the diner who ordered extra fries said the ones on the plate would have been plenty.
  2. Four posts came with family — parents or children; two brought kids and two noticed high chairs. Five arrived by car. Two came with friends and two with a partner or spouse.
  3. Three posts arrived on foot or by bus. One walked up the slope from Myeong-dong Station exit 3; a June 2026 post took a bus and an escalator up to the cable car area. The oft-quoted 518 m distance is copied from the map listing.

Parking

Posts saying you can park3 of 21 posts

Parking today is the space out front. Three posts parked there or saw the free spot, and two of them say it holds just one car; mentions of two spaces come only from copied info lines. Several point to the nearby public lot when it's taken. Through 2025, the ground floor was a car park with valet service (you handed over your key); now that it's a dining hall, we don't know whether valet still exists.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Three posts arrived on foot or by bus. One walked up the slope from Myeong-dong Station exit 3; a June 2026 post took a bus and an escalator up to the cable car area. The oft-quoted 518 m distance is copied from the map listing.

Getting inside

Second floor2 of 21 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 21 posts read)
Toilet inside1 of 21 posts
Separate restrooms2 of 21 posts

The floors changed with the remodel. Two 2026 posts ate on the ground floor. The upper floor is unclear: two posts say both floors are in use, while a June 2026 post said it was still under renovation and a September one heard the same. Until 2025 the dining room and terrace were upstairs; whether a terrace exists now, we don't know.

No one says whether there's a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in — that means unknown, not absent. Before the remodel the hall was up a staircase; how the new ground-floor entrance works, we can't say. No post mentions a lift or ramp either.

One post (August 2026) says the restroom is inside the restaurant, and two say it is split by gender. Nobody mentions an accessible restroom.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Waits are split: three posts met a queue, two found the place nearly empty. One family walked in as first customers at the 10 a.m. opening and saw a queue when they came back down from Namsan (October 2026); another got in behind one group but left past a line stretching to the ground floor (November 2025); a third had only a short wait (September 2025). The two quiet visits were a weekday lunch and an off-peak weekday. Nobody recorded how many minutes they waited.
  • Service is split two to one: two posts found the staff friendly, while an August 2025 post said not to expect friendliness and that the food was slow to come.
  • Thickness is disputed: five posts call the meat thick, one describes it as pounded thin, under half a centimeter. Three posts call the taste ordinary.
  • Prices have gone up. The plain cutlet was 9,800 won on an autumn 2024 visit, 11,900 won in posts from November 2025 to August 2026, and 12,500 won from late September 2026. One post (October 2026) found it pricey; two found it good value, both from the 9,800-won days. A meal runs 12,500–15,500 won for a cutlet or 15,500–16,500 won for a pasta.
  • Opening hours: all ten 2026 posts give 10:00–20:00 daily, though nearly all copy it from the listing; only one experienced it, arriving as first customers at 10. Posts through November 2025 gave 10:30–21:00, which we treat as superseded. No one mentions a break time or last order.
  • Most posts give the phone number as 0507-1324-5150; older ones list 02-319-5150. Reservations appear only in one copied info line; nobody wrote that they booked.
  • Posts cluster in September 2026 and some look like commissioned copy: two share the same eleven hashtags in the same order, one discloses sponsorship, and a comparison post by that same sponsored blogger is not counted as a separate visit. A November 2024 post cross-posted to two blogs is counted once. Claims about the TV appearance, house-made sauce and kimchi, and the cheese's origin are the restaurant's own lines repeated, and we don't rely on them.
