Cruce is a brunch cafe on the second floor of the Koreana Hotel, between Gwanghwamun and City Hall stations. It serves eight brunch plates, among them a shrimp-and-bacon pizza on an egg base, jamón eggs Benedict and garlic shrimp pilaf, at 21,000-27,000 won a plate since around July 2025. Posts describe weekday business meetings and weekend hotel guests. We read 21 posts from October 2024 to September 2026; 2 were about other restaurants in the hotel and were set aside, and 16 record an actual meal.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Five posts said portions were large; one nearly left food, another summed the meal up as 'big portions.' One suggested a whole egg pizza feeds three or four. A single post found the shrimp pilaf small.
- Six posts booked ahead. Two said a reservation gets you a table already set, and lunchtime posts mention seats filling quickly and being glad they had booked.
- Six posts said tables are well spaced and five called it quiet; one noted you can't hear neighboring tables. Two mentioned low, comfortable sofas. One pointed out there are no windows.
- Three posts said the seasoning is mild, two of them finding the egg pizza underseasoned. Two found the egg-heavy dishes got rich. On heat, one said nothing is spicy while another noticed a chili-flake kick in the shrimp cream pasta.
1 more
- Five posts noted wine for sale. One copied a notice that the in-house wine shop's bottles carry no corkage with a meal.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 6 of 13 posts |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 3 of 13 posts |
Six posts describe going up from the hotel lobby to the second floor, by the stairs beside or in front of reception or by elevator; three mention the elevator.
No one said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in; three posts mention an elevator.
One post said there are two restrooms at either end of Cruce; whether they are inside the cafe or in the hotel corridor, and whether they are separated by gender, we don't know.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 16 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices went up around July 2025. The December 2024 menu had the egg pizza at 21,000 won, eggs Benedict 24,000 and French toast 19,000; from mid-July 2025 posts show 27,000 and 26,000, and a September post lists French toast at 21,000 and the pilaf at 24,000. The brunch-add americano rose from 3,900 to 4,500 won by December 2025. One post found it pricey, two called it reasonable.
- Opening hours were recorded differently over time, all copied from listings: 07:30-18:00 (Sundays to 16:00) in three posts from December 2024 to February 2025, daily 07:00-15:00 with last order 14:30 in three posts from mid-2025, and 11:00-15:00 or 15:30 from December 2025. Check before going.
- Two posts from April and May 2026 mention Japanese-style French toast and soufflé pancakes not seen before, plus pasta and pizza sets from 11:00; the menu may be changing.
- No post describes waiting in line — not that there is none, only that no one wrote about it. One post saw seats fill fast at lunch, one found other tables full, and one found the popular dishes sold out.
- Three posts give the phone number as 02-2171-7847, but one lists 02-2171-7834 and another 0507-1412-7912. Bookings are said to go through Naver, CatchTable or phone.
- Only one post commented on service, saying it wasn't smooth and the cutlery was smudged.
- Of the 16 meal posts, five were sponsored, written by hotel 'supporters' or hosted by the hotel; one supporter post shares an identical 26-hashtag block with the same blogger's post about another hotel restaurant. Three said they paid their own way.
