135 Kitchen & Bar
135 키친앤바 135 Kichin-aen-ba The 135 is the hotel's street number, 135 Sejong-daero; 'kitchen & bar' because it runs buffets by day and a wine bar at night.

135 Kitchen & Bar is the buffet restaurant on the ground floor of Hotel Koreana at 135 Sejong-daero, just right of the lobby, between Gwanghwamun and City Hall stations. Breakfast is a buffet with one egg dish (45,000 won, 39,000 for hotel guests), lunch is the buffet plus one plated main (65,000 won), and dinner is a wine buffet with unlimited wine (55,000 won in 2025 posts). It opened around May 2025 after a renovation; one post says the hotel's buffet used to be on the second floor. We read 16 posts from May 2025 to October 2026; 14 describe an actual meal there, one was about a different hotel in the same building, and one is a list of many places.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- This is a place you book. Seven posts mention reserving or explain how, via Naver, Catch Table or phone. One August 2026 post was told on the day that it was fully booked, got a table within five minutes, but as a same-day guest did not get the 10% Naver discount.
- Five posts describe the unlimited wine at dinner: three glasses set at each place (sparkling, white, red), and bottles labelled with tasting notes for self-pouring. The count varies: eight wines in posts from May 2025 and April 2026, versus one champagne, two whites and three reds plus Suntory highball and beer in August 2026.
- There is live jazz on Thursday and Friday evenings. Two posts heard it themselves, one on a Thursday and one on a Friday; other mentions copy the venue's notice.
- There is a private room. Four posts mention it; a team-dinner post booked a room for about ten that was completely quiet with the door shut, and a group of seven guessed it could hold around fifteen.
4 more
- The room is not large; three posts say so. Four posts mention window seats, and opinions on table spacing differ, mostly wide but one said not especially.
- Posts lean toward good value: four say so, and one wavers. Four posts mention discounts, a Naver booking discount (given as 5% in one post and 10% in others) and a lower breakfast price for hotel guests.
- Driving means valet parking: three posts mention it. One explains the hotel lot is valet-only, with self-parking in the annex tower to the left of the hotel. No one noted a parking fee.
- It is a walk from the subway. Three posts say transit is easy; one couple came on foot from City Hall and Gwanghwamun stations respectively, and another places it between Gwanghwamun exit 6 and City Hall exit 3.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
It is a walk from the subway. Three posts say transit is easy; one couple came on foot from City Hall and Gwanghwamun stations respectively, and another places it between Gwanghwamun exit 6 and City Hall exit 3.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 9 (of 13 posts read) |

It is on the ground floor. Nine posts mention this from their visit, describing it as immediately on the right inside the hotel entrance; one noted there was no elevator to wait for.
We don't know about steps at the entrance or wheelchair and stroller access. Many posts say it is on the ground floor, but nobody wrote about steps either way.
No one wrote about the restroom, whether it is inside the restaurant or separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The restaurant opened new around May 2025. One post says the hotel buffet used to be upstairs and moved to a renovated ground floor; two others call it newly opened. We did not count anything about the earlier buffet.
- The dinner price may have gone up: four posts from May to September 2025 give 55,000 won, while one May 2026 post lists 65,000 won for lunch and dinner. That rests on one post, so check the current price. Lunch stayed at 65,000 won throughout.
- Desserts sometimes run out. An August 2026 post found cakes and fruit nearly gone by 7:40 pm, and staff brought out a few macarons and choux meant for the next day; a May 2026 post saw plainer desserts once lunch hour ended. 2025 posts, by contrast, say fruit was refilled promptly.
- Opening hours differ slightly between posts. Five agree on dinner from 6 to 8:30 pm; one says until 9:30 with food cleared at 8:30. All-day hours appear as 7 am to 10:30 pm (last order 10 pm), 7 am to 11 pm on a sign, and a bar from 6 to 11:30 pm Monday to Saturday, mostly copied from notices. No one clearly stated Sunday hours.
- Four posts give the phone number 02-2171-7830; one gives the Naver relay number 0507-1495-7838. Reservations go through these or Naver and Catch Table.
- No post describes queuing. One arrived right at 11:30 and found it quiet; another said weekday lunch was busy and advised booking. That reflects mostly booked visits, not proof there is never a wait.
- Some posts are promotional: one disclosed payment, three received meals or support, and two of those were hotel supporters. Three posts say they paid themselves.
