Osteria Lago is an Italian restaurant on the second floor of a white building at Baekjegobun-ro 41-gil 39 in Songpa, a few minutes from the east side of Seokchon Lake. It is a separate business from Pizzeria Lago, the wood-fired pizza place on the ground floor; you reach it by a staircase on the right side of the building. Diners mostly order the chuck-flap steak, the seafood cioppino, the mortadella pizza and a shrimp carbonara made with gamtae seaweed, and free bread comes first. Pastas and risottos cost around 26,000 won, and the steak was 49,000 won in 2026. Each part of the room is furnished differently, and posts name the fireplace table, the library tables and the window lounge table. We read 30 posts dated November 2024 to October 2026. We set aside 6 that were about another business, mostly the ground-floor pizzeria. One more only introduced the place, so we did not count it as a visit. What sets it apart
- The tables are well spaced. 9 posts say so, and one says you can barely hear the next table. A December 2025 post goes through the seats one by one. It recommends the fireplace table, where the fire is actually lit, for three or four people and the magnolia window table in a small room for two, and it mentions a separate table for groups of ten.
- 7 posts say they sat by the window, and all of them mention daylight coming in. One says the window table seats up to six. One summer post says blankets are left at the seats that catch the air-conditioning.

The lot beside the building holds only a few cars. 3 posts say they parked there: one was lucky to find one of the two spots in front, and another found a free space among roughly five. The other posts only repeat the restaurant's notice that parking is free during your meal when a space is available. One August 2025 post says to use a nearby public car park instead.

It is easy to walk into the wrong floor. 15 posts say they went up to the second floor, and several warn that the ground floor is a different restaurant. One writer saw a Pizzeria Lago sign outside the second-floor door, went back down to the ground floor and then came up again.
We don't know whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. The restaurant is on the second floor and several posts describe taking the stairs at the side of the building, but none says whether the building has a lift. That doesn't mean there is none; nobody wrote about it.
Only 1 post mentions the toilet: it is not inside the restaurant but on the building's stairwell. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listings.

What we do not know
- Read the waiting reports floor by floor. The long queues, such as nine parties on the CatchTable app, belong to the ground-floor pizzeria. For the second floor, 2 posts say they walked straight in and 1 says there may be a wait. Posts say that when the pizzeria queue is long, its customers are sent up to the second floor, so the room upstairs can fill up on those days.
- Prices have gone up. In 2025 posts the chuck-flap steak was 45,000 won and the mortadella pizza 27,000 won. From March 2026 the pizza is 28,000 won, and from June the steak is 49,000 won. The September 2026 menu lists the 180 g sirloin at 70,000 won, up from 65,000 won in 2025 posts. One post calls the place expensive and one says it is not. Recorded bills are 69,000 won for two in December 2024 and 132,000 won for six in September 2025.
- All the opening hours are copied from the restaurant's own listings. Of the 17 posts that give hours, 15 say 12:00–22:30 and one says it opens at 11:00. 15 give a break from 15:00 to 17:00. 14 say it closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, while 2 posts from May and August 2025 say Tuesdays only. 10 give last orders at 21:30, and pizza is listed separately at 20:30.
- 8 posts give the phone number as 0507-1487-8589; one writes the last digits as 8587. Most posts say they booked through Naver, and one from August 2025 says phone bookings are also accepted.
- Copied listings give corkage as 50,000 won per bottle, with no limit on bottles. One post says it is free. No post describes bringing their own wine.
- The weekday lunch course (38,000 won per person in May 2025) appears only in posts from November 2024 and May 2025. We don't know whether it is still offered.
- Some posts look like they were written from the same template. Two posts from May and July 2025 describe the warm wholemeal bread with balsamic oil, and ordering soda with a glass of ice because they had driven, in almost the same words. Several posts carry Naver Clip challenge hashtags, and only one says it was sponsored.
