Sindorim Sambaekga

신도림 삼백가 Sambaek means 'three whites' and ga means house; two posts say the name carries the 'sambaek' story of Sangju, the region the house draws its persimmon-fed pork and persimmon kimchi from.

Compiled from 27 blog posts read in fullSources →

A trotter, bossam and kalguksu restaurant on the ground floor of the Sindorim Prugio 1 arcade, across from Sindorim Station exit 1. Evenings are for sets (trotter with kalguksu 51,000 won, trotter-and-bossam jin set 59,000 won); at lunch people eat single meals such as kalguksu at 9,900 won or a bossam meal at 10,900 won. Ordering kalguksu gets you barley rice from the self-serve bar. We read 30 posts dated 17 June to 19 October 2026; 27 describe an actual visit. Most of the posts bunched between 12 and 19 October share the same keyword titles and house slogans and look like commissioned promotion.

Rows without a count: 3 of 19 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Before the main arrives the house brings a small free taster of cold trotter in mustard sauce; 18 posts mention it, two calling it cold bossam, and several say the mustard has a real kick. Nobody ordered the full 34,000 won version. Two posts from August and early September don't list it among the sides; one names meatballs instead.
  2. Fifteen posts call the portions large. Two couples took leftover trotter home from the trotter-and-kalguksu set, and one writer said they usually finish a set elsewhere but nearly burst here.
  3. Fourteen posts say the trotter or bossam has no porky smell, and none say it does; two writers who call themselves sensitive to pork odour ate it happily. Claims about a mild herbal broth mostly repeat the shop's own copy, so we didn't count them.
  4. Twelve posts order from a tablet at the table; one table had a QR code instead, one post notes you pay up front, and one says there is no paper menu at all.
4 more
  1. Twelve posts top up side dishes at the self-serve bar — one table refilled the persimmon kimchi three times. Several also mention a sweet juice dispenser next to it.
  2. The room is small but split up: five posts mention a back room (one sat in a room with three four-person tables, another watched an 11-person booking go in), and six note bar seats by the window or entrance for solo diners.
  3. Nine posts walked from the station — under five minutes from exit 1 or 5 — and one came by bus and crossed a single crosswalk.
  4. Four posts waited and two walked straight in. The only wait time given is about 20 minutes on a weekday evening. One family found space at 11:30 but saw a queue forming as they left at 12:30; one of the walk-ins arrived at 4 pm. One post suggests booking through Naver.

Parking

6 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park6 of 27 posts

Six posts parked in the building's underground car park, and nearly every post repeats that up to two hours are covered. An August 2026 post found the car park nearly empty because the Homeplus store had closed; an October post says B2 is Homeplus-only, so use B3. One driver found the way from the car park to the shop confusing.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 6 (of 27 posts read)
Lift to the flooryes 0 · no 1 (of 27 posts read)

Six posts give directions placing it on the arcade's ground floor, typically down the alley by the estate agent off the central square; one writer says it's tucked far enough inside that they got a little lost.

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair gets in — not that it can't, just that nobody wrote it down. One driver reports that the car-park lift doesn't stop at the ground floor for non-residents, so they got off at the second floor and took the stairs down.

No post mentions the toilet — inside or outside, shared or separate. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions split on size: three posts found it roomy with well-spaced tables, four said it is not large.
  • Heat depends on the dish: three posts found something spicy (the spicy trotter, spicy kalguksu, soft-tofu stew), one family found the bossam and clam noodles mild enough for children, and one post found the fire trotter sweet first and only mildly hot.
  • Opening hours appear in 19 visit posts, almost all copied from the listing: daily 11:00–21:40 with a 15:00–16:00 break on weekdays and none at weekends. One post says it closes at 21:30, another that the full menu runs until 21:30; nobody states a last-order time. Three posts say weekday lunch (before 3 pm) is meals only, with trotter and bossam from 4 pm, and two found the trotter sold out at lunch.
  • Two posts actually received free kalguksu or makguksu for writing a receipt review; others copy a notice offering a 500 ml drink instead, so the reward may vary. No post complains about prices, and set prices (51,000 and 64,000 won) match across posts from August to October 2026.
  • More than ten posts give the same phone number, 0507-1361-3281. Several copy a note that Naver booking takes parties of 2 to 14, but no one reports booking by phone.
  • Four of the 30 posts disclose a tasting invitation, free food or a discount, and most of the rest cluster in 12–19 October 2026 with identical keyword titles and the same house slogans (a Chosun Hotel chef, persimmon kimchi, a twelve-ingredient broth). We treat those slogans as copied marketing and don't count them.
