A tendon counter tucked inside the ground-floor arcade of the Seongsu 1-cha Daewoo Apartments on Dongil-ro, Seongsu-dong. One chef takes the order, fries it, and serves you at a bar facing the open kitchen. The basic Umatendon is 10,000 won, the four-shrimp Ebitendon 13,000, the conger-eel Anagotendon 14,000, and the soft-shell crab and special bowls 17,000; the soft egg (1,000) is extra. Several posts say the shop moved here from near Dosan Park in Apgujeong. We read 30 posts from November 2025 to October 2026; 25 describe an actual meal there.

What sets it apart
- Expect to wait for your food. Fifteen posts say it comes slowly. The times they give: 30 minutes, 30 minutes, 30-40 minutes, 50 minutes, and one case of 15 minutes just to place the order plus 20-25 more. One diner booked for noon and got the bowl at 12:40; another booked for noon, sat behind an earlier group, and waited an hour from arrival. Several posts relay the shop's notice that it fries only four to six portions per round and takes no new orders mid-batch.
- All seats are at a bar facing the kitchen. Ten posts say there are no tables, and none says otherwise. Seat counts given are about 10 and about 12. One post warns that groups of four or more end up in a line and struggle to talk.
- Fifteen posts mention watching the frying up close across the open kitchen, and many say it made the wait easier.
- Eighteen posts call the batter crisp, often adding that it is thin. One noted the tempura was not as hot as freshly fried food usually is.

Five posts place it on the ground floor of the arcade, not below. Some say it is right by the entrance, others that it is at the far end and easy to miss; one notes the only door faces the inside of the arcade.
One post gives the route from the B2 car park: lift to the ground floor, right, right again, to the end of the corridor.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether anyone came in with a wheelchair or stroller. We simply don't know. Note too that every seat is at a bar counter.
No post says where the toilet is. A 'separate men's and women's toilets' line appears only in copied listing info, which we don't count.

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours come almost entirely from copied listings. All agree on 11:30-21:00 on weekdays and closed Saturdays; Sunday is given as 12:00-21:00 (one says 21:30), the break as 14:30-17:30 (one says from 14:00; Sundays 15:00-17:30), last orders at 14:00 and 20:30. Posts also relay that since August 2025 the shop sells only 36 bowls a day (20 at lunch, 16 at dinner) and may close early.
- Prices are mostly consistent, but two posts differ: a late-April 2026 post gives 12,000 for Ebitendon and 13,500 for Anagotendon, and an early-May post gives 9,000 for Umatendon and 16,000 for the special. Since a November 2025 post already shows 13,000 and 14,000, these look like older prices, but we can't confirm.
- Phone 0507-1318-5833, as copied in six posts. One post says Naver booking runs in 30-minute slots from 11:30 to 19:30.
- Takeaway is unclear. A November 2025 post says delivery and takeaway were offered; a March 2026 visitor saw a sign at the door saying no takeaway. Both relay the shop's own notices, so we don't know the current policy.
- That the shop opened near Dosan Park in Apgujeong in 2017 and later moved here is something posts repeat rather than witnessed; one dates the move to January 2022. Every post we read describes the Seongsu shop.
- Most posts describe a one-person operation, but one early-May 2026 post saw the owner plus one staff member, and noted empty bowls were not cleared promptly.
