Uhyangga Jeongyuk Sikdang

우향가 정육식당 Jeongyuk sikdang means a butcher's restaurant — a meat counter where you order cuts and grill them at the table; none of the posts explain the name Uhyangga.

Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →

A butcher-style grill on the second floor above a Baskin-Robbins, two or three minutes' walk from exit 1 of Seongsu Station. You grill Korean-beef rib meat, skirt and brisket over charcoal, and the table comes with vinegared rice, laver, perilla leaves, flying-fish roe and a house seaweed wasabi so you can wrap the beef like sushi. The most-ordered set, 400 g of rib or skirt with brisket, has been 45,900 won since a post dated 10 August 2026; earlier posts list 43,500. Lunch adds short-rib soup and beef-tartare bibimbap. We read thirty posts from 6 July to 5 October 2026; two were about other restaurants, and twenty-five record an actual meal here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Staff grill at your table: seventeen posts say the owner or staff cooked for them. The routine is the same across posts — brisket first on a small pan set on the grill, handed over with seaweed wasabi; then mushrooms, onion and kimchi in the brisket fat; then laver toasted over the coals for sushi-style wraps. Some posts say staff grilled only the first round of rib meat and they did the rest; one says staff grilled to the end.
  2. It is a large room: eighteen posts mention the space or generous table spacing; one counted dozens of four- and six-person tables, and others mention sofa seating at the back. Work-dinner and group diners come up again and again.
  3. Three posts say there is a private room for groups at the back; another only said the inner area is somewhat separated.
  4. You order from a kiosk or tablet at the table — eight posts say so — and several mention the same screen plays a how-to-eat video.
3 more
  1. There is coffee on the way out: ten posts mention a coffee machine by the door, next to a freezer of 500-won ice-cream bars.
  2. Ten posts say portions are generous ('a lot, even for a half board'). One differed: a couple found the rib-and-brisket set a little short and ordered sirloin on top.
  3. Of the eighteen posts that discuss price, sixteen call it cheap for Seongsu. One questioned the 14,000-won short-rib soup at lunch.

Parking

1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 25 posts

One post says the building has no parking. Several info boxes point to paid parking at the church in front (3,000 won an hour), but that is copied information; no one wrote about actually parking.

Getting inside

Second floor16 of 25 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 16 (of 25 posts read)
Lift to the flooryes 0 · no 1 (of 25 posts read)

It is upstairs: sixteen posts describe going up to the second floor, and several mention a menu board at the foot of the stairs so you can check prices first.

One post says there is no lift; no other post mentions one either way.

No post mentions arriving with a wheelchair or stroller; several describe climbing stairs. That is not proof it's impossible — nobody wrote about it.

No post describes the toilets from experience. One post's info box says the women's toilet is inside, but that is copied information and we don't count it.

No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Prices rose in August 2026: posts up to 8 August list 43,500 won for 400 g and 78,000 for 800 g; from 10 August, 45,900 and 84,900. The special-cuts platter went from 99,000 to 105,000. A table charge of 2,000 won per person is added.
  • No post mentions waiting. One arrived at 5 pm to two occupied tables, with groups arriving from 6; another said the big room filled right after office hours. Some posts booked ahead.
  • Opening hours: seventeen posts give 11:00-23:00 (nine add last order at 22:00), two give 11:00-22:00 — almost all from copied info boxes. Nobody mentions a break or a closing day.
  • Two phone numbers appear: 0507-1346-1880 (ten posts) and 02-466-1880 (three). Several posts say bookings are via Naver; one was told groups of twenty or more should phone.
  • Close to twenty posts carry the same five hashtags, yet only two disclose sponsorship; three boilerplate write-ups with no meal record were not counted. One post said that day's rib meat was sinewy and chewy.
