Cafe

Tournesol

뚜흐느솔 Ttuheuneusol Tournesol is French for sunflower — posts note the name means 해바라기, and one describes yellow accents on the facade.

Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →

Tournesol is a two-storey café and wine bar a few minutes' walk from exit 2 of Seongsu Station (123 Seongsui-ro). You order at the ground-floor counter, take a buzzer and usually sit upstairs; French toast is the draw — 16,500 won for strawberry cream, 22,000 won for the strawberry chocolate or matcha 'Dubai' versions, 5,500 won for an americano. We read 30 posts from 2 February to 5 October 2026; 19 describe an actual visit, and the other 11 are introductions built from the listing.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Six posts said many of the customers were foreign — one found everyone ahead of them in line was a tourist, another estimated Japanese and Chinese visitors and nine in ten customers women. Several writers came because of social-media buzz about good-looking staff.
  2. At busy times it is slow: two posts said so, one noting the French toast orders were backed up, the other that a tour group arriving makes ordering take a while.
  3. Opinions on sweetness split: two posts found things sweet, three said less sweet than expected, and one found the matcha Dubai toast restrained but the strawberry cream toast on the sweet side.
  4. Three posts called it pricey: one felt it was a bit expensive for what you get, one balked at 22,000 won, and one at 21,000 won for the whole-mango sandwich next door. Two also found the portion small — the bread is 'cute-sized', and one wished for another slice.

Parking

Posts saying you can park1 of 18 posts

Many posts repeat that there is surface parking behind the building — three cars normally, eight after 5 p.m. — but that is copied from the listing. Only one writer described the lot behind the shop as roomy, and nobody said they actually parked there.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Second floor14 of 18 posts
Toilet inside1 of 18 posts

The seating is upstairs: 14 of the 19 visit posts sat on or described the second floor. The ground floor has a bar and roughly three tables — one writer said you can treat it as having almost no seats — and three posts mention a small separate annex beside it. Eight posts called the place spacious; two said it is not that big.

Posts describe a ground floor and a second floor; none mentions any basement space, and beyond the upstairs seating nobody described the layout further.

No post mentions an entrance step, ramp, lift, or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair — not that there are none, just that nobody wrote about it. One post says you reach the main seating upstairs by the stairs.

Only one post described the toilet from experience: on the second floor through a door in the far corner, two stalls, fairly clean. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing information.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 11 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-05-152 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Three posts mention waiting, and they differ: one found a few people waiting at weekend opening though seats were free; two found weekend mornings quiet — one sat easily at 11:30 on a Saturday but saw the upstairs full by 12:30.
  • Nine visit posts give opening hours, all copied from the listing or Instagram. Eight from April to July 2026 agree on 11:00–23:00 daily with last orders at 22:00; one in mid-March says 23:30 with last orders at 21:30. A post from 3 February listed 09:30 openings and 01:00 closing on Fridays and Saturdays, so the hours appear to have changed in early 2026.
  • Five posts copy the phone number 0507-1385-7880. Group and private rooms and reservations appear only in text lifted from the owner's description; no visitor wrote about booking or seeing those rooms.
  • Seven of the 30 posts follow the same template — the 'made from public Naver Place information' line, the 189 m from the station, keyword tallies and the same quoted reviews; we did not count them or other listing dumps. Separately, a September 2026 post calls its visit the 'first day after opening', but visit posts go back to January, so we do not know what it refers to.
