TACO MINOR

타코마이너 Tako Maineo An English name: 'taco' plus 'minor', the ordinary English word for small or lesser — no post explains why the owners chose it.

Compiled from 28 blog posts read in fullSources →

A small Mexican place up a flight of stairs in an alley off Yeonmujang-gil, near exit 4 of Seongsu station. You order at a kiosk and build tacos (two for 9,500 won), chimichangas (12,000 won, 14,000 with beef), quesadillas or burritos with your choice of meat and coriander. We read 30 posts from February to September 2026; 28 describe an actual meal, and 22 of those ordered the chimichanga. Two posts say the restaurant used to be near E-Mart Seongsu before moving here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Thirteen posts describe a crisp fried shell, almost all of them about the chimichanga, and nine say it isn't greasy, crediting the sour cream and salsas. One post found the chimichanga more ordinary than expected.
  2. Eleven posts say you order at a kiosk; two mention two kiosks, one by the door and one inside, and two say water is self-serve. No post complains about slow food, and six say it came out quickly.
  3. Twelve posts call the room small and none call it large. The sixteen posts that describe seating mention a window bar, two- and four-person tables and a sofa section at the back; one counted five two-tops and two four-tops, and one found the tables cramped. Several note bar seats that suit solo diners.

Parking

1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 28 posts

One post says there is no lot and suggests a public car park, and another calls parking 'a bit disappointing'. Copied info blocks say no parking four times and 'parking available (nearby public/paid lots)' once. No one describes actually parking.

Getting inside

Second floor14 of 28 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 17 (of 28 posts read)
Toilet inside3 of 28 posts
Separate restroomsyes 0 · no 1 (of 28 posts read)

The restaurant is on the second floor, reached by an outdoor staircase. Fourteen posts describe going up to the second floor, and six call the stairs steep — one says to hold the handrail going up and to be careful coming down. None describes a basement.

No post mentions entering with a wheelchair or stroller, and none mentions a lift. All we know is that you climb an outdoor staircase that six posts call steep; nobody says whether there is a step at the door.

Three posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant. A post devoted to restrooms found it unisex and small — one urinal, one stall — but clean even at 2pm, just before the afternoon break.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Waits are mixed. Three posts waited or saw a line — about three groups waiting for the 5pm reopening, a queue forming right after one party sat down, a long line at peak — while six walked straight in (weekday lunch, early weekday evening, Saturday at 8:10pm, after the weekend lunch rush). Three mention waiting chairs by the door. No post gives a wait in minutes.
  • Distances like '254 m from Seongsu exit 4' are copied from map listings; no post describes actually arriving by subway or bus. One simply recommends public transport because parking is awkward.
  • Seven posts say who they came with: four with friends, one with a partner, one with a primary-school child, one alone; the rest don't say. The parent found the staff curt, felt on edge with the child, and wished they had been warned the taco was spicy.
  • Opening hours are given almost everywhere as Monday–Saturday 11:30–21:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break and Sundays closed, mostly copied from map listings. The Saturday break is 16:00–17:00 in four posts and from 15:30 in one; a single post says 'daily 11:00–21:00'. Two identical copied blocks with a different address and phone number were set aside.
  • Prices held steady across our posts: two tacos 9,500 won, chimichanga 12,000 won and a soft drink 2,500 won in every post from May to September 2026. A chimichanga and a drink come to 14,500 won; one post paid 25,000 won for a chimichanga, a small quesadilla, a cola and extra sour cream. Three posts call it reasonable and none call it expensive. A listicle's 9,000/11,000 won figures were copied and not counted.
  • Nine posts give the number 0507-1401-5002. Three describe reserving — one phoned ahead for a weekend visit, one shows a Naver booking receipt, and one found the table she wanted already reserved. Other numbers appear only in copied blocks.
  • Two posts say the restaurant relocated, one having known it when it was near E-Mart Seongsu. Nobody says when; all 30 posts we read are from the current address, so nothing here describes the old one.
