Sundae Sillok Seongsuyeok-jeom

순대실록 성수역점 Sillok means 'veritable records', the word for the Joseon royal annals, and sundae is Korean stuffed sausage, so the name reads roughly 'The Sundae Annals'; Seongsuyeok-jeom is the Seongsu Station branch.

Compiled from 16 blog posts read in fullSources →

The Seongsu Station branch of the Sundae Sillok sundaeguk chain, on the ground floor of the Baekseok Building at 122 Achasan-ro, across from exit 3. Soups run 11,000-12,000 won and stuffed squid 20,000 won; you order from a kiosk or tablet at your seat and top up chives, onion and radish kimchi at a self-serve bar. We read 28 posts from November 2024 to September 2026. Five were set aside (other branches, an unidentifiable branch, or the hair salon upstairs) and one was just a line in a new-business list, leaving 22 actual visits. Since opening in late November 2024 we see no move and no price change.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You order from a screen at your seat; seven posts said so, describing a kiosk or tablet at each table. On the chili paste, posts differ: one said it comes in the soup unless you untick it on the kiosk, another said staff bring it on request.
  2. It is close to the subway: nine posts said so, with distances from about one minute or 90 m from exit 3 up to a 5-7 minute walk.
  3. Seven posts called the room clean and three called it spacious. One noted none of the old-diner feel or smell typical of sundaeguk shops; others described four-, two- and one-person tables, a bar counter and a solo-dining section with study-carrel-style seats.
  4. Five posts found portions generous, one saying it would fill a grown man. Against that, one post wished for more than four pieces of sausage in the lean-meat soup, and another found little cabbage in the bone soup.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

It is close to the subway: nine posts said so, with distances from about one minute or 90 m from exit 3 up to a 5-7 minute walk.

Getting inside

The ground-floor location comes only from the address; no post described the entrance level or any stairs.

Nobody mentioned a step at the door or coming in with a wheelchair or stroller. One post noted a full glass front.

The only toilet information is a copied info block saying it is a unisex restroom inside the building; nobody described using it, so we do not know where it is or whether it is separated.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 17 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions on smell differ: two posts said no porky odor, one noticed a faint funky smell, and two mentioned a slight meaty smell without calling it a problem.
  • Two posts found the spicy dishes hot; one found the spicy basic soup milder than expected. One post noted extra chili peppers cost extra.
  • On value it is two to one: two posts called it good value, one thought it a little pricey for the taste. Recorded prices are 11,000 won for the spicy basic soup (Feb 2025), 11,000 for bone soup (Jul 2025), 12,000 for lean-meat soup (three posts, Aug-Sep 2025), 11,000 for spicy intestine soup (Nov 2025), 14,000 for the meat-pancake set and 20,000 for stuffed squid. The only 2026 figure is a loose 'about 10,000 a bowl', so current prices are unconfirmed.
  • Two posts reported a line at weekday lunch in early 2025, one adding that it moves fast; one post on a rainy weekend in April 2025 found no wait. Nobody recorded how many minutes.
  • Only one post (September 2025) described the staff, unfavorably: two diners were steered to solo seats, and their food came so late that later arrivals were already eating. Another post had its soup about five minutes after the side dishes. No post praised the service.
  • Only two posts say they came with a friend or colleague and one came alone. Several noted many solo diners around them, but that describes other customers, so we did not count it.
  • Seven posts list the same hours, 09:00-23:00 daily, all copied from info blocks. One post mentions no afternoon break and another found it open early in the morning. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Two posts copied the phone number 02-468-6388. Nobody wrote about booking by phone, so we do not know whether reservations are taken.
