SEVY HAUS
쎄비하우스 Ssebi Hauseu SEVY is the name of an online knitting-supply brand and Haus is German for house; one post calls this building the brand's first offline space.

SEVY HAUS takes up a whole seven-storey building at Yeonmujang 5ga-gil 28, near Seongsu Station. Floors 1 to 3 sell yarn, patterns, kits and notions. From the 4th floor up there is a lounge where you order one drink and sit down to knit, and the 7th floor is a rooftop. Lounge coffee comes as a Nespresso capsule you brew yourself; one post lists americano at ₩3,500 and latte or cappuccino at ₩3,800. On 10 July 2026 the lounge switched from timed passes to a one-drink-per-person system. This is not a restaurant, so drinks are the only food or drink here. We read 30 posts from 10 July to 5 October 2026, and 29 of them describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- To sit in the lounge, each person orders one drink. Three posts mention this one-drink rule. Coffee means picking up a capsule at the counter and brewing it yourself; one post says bottled drinks come from the fridge and cost ₩3,000 to ₩6,000. One weekday visitor writes that they arrived at noon and left at four.
- Weekend visits are capped at three hours. Two posts from weekend visits mention the cap, and one writer says they made the most of their three hours. The limit came in with the 10 July change.
- There are places to charge at the seats. One post notes built-in sockets at every seat, window seats included. Another says they borrowed a fully charged power bank after leaving their name and phone number at the counter. Several posts also mention free loans of needles, scissors and stitch markers.
- Four posts mention the 7th-floor rooftop, a garden with yellow tables and chairs. One summer visitor writes that it was too hot and they hurried back inside. Another post says the indoor part of the 7th floor has a TV and tables for four and two.
1 more
- Four posts call the lounge quiet. One writer found it so quiet that walking around taking photos felt rude, so they left quickly.

Parking
1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

One post describes driving there. The shop has no parking, so the writer used the SKV tower opposite and paid about ₩3,000 for 90 minutes. Other 'no parking' lines are copied notices.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 4 (of 26 posts read) |
| Lift to the floor | yes 3 · no 1 (of 26 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 26 posts |
Three posts say they took the lift. One post says there is no lift between the café floors, so you have to take the stairs. We could not tell whether only the lounge floors are stairs-only.
No post mentions an entrance step, a ramp, or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means we don't know, not that the answer is no. Four posts say they entered on the ground floor.
Only one post describes the toilet firsthand: it was used during a lounge visit, smelled pleasant and had paper towels. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in a copied info line, so we did not count it.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- How the lounge works depends on whether a post was written before or after 10 July 2026. The post from 10 July describes the floors from the 4th up as ticket-only, with coffee and snacks included. Posts from 16 July on say one drink is enough. One visitor who went before 10 July only browsed up to the 3rd floor because the lounge cost extra.
- One post mentions waiting: there was a queue outside on a weekend afternoon, and it felt like 5 to 10 minutes. The claim that people jostle for lounge seats at weekends is hearsay. One September visitor skipped the lounge because few seats were left.
- Posts disagree on size. Three call it spacious, while one says each floor is not that big, even though the building has seven storeys.
- Opening hours: eight posts give the same daily 11:00 to 20:00, but all of them copied it from an info line. On days off, four posts list 1 January and the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays, while one just says it never closes. Only one post gives the 19:00 last order for the lounge.
- Drinks are the only prices we have. One post from 1 September gives the coffee prices, and one post gives the bottled-drink prices. Two posts call the drinks cheap for Seongsu. One post puts yarn at ₩4,000 to ₩7,000 a ball.
- For the phone number, three posts give the customer line 1600-0653 and one gives 070-7673-6745. No post describes booking ahead.
