Soando Punggyeong
소안도풍경 Soando is a small island off Wando at the southern tip of South Jeolla, and punggyeong means scenery, so the name reads 'the scenery of Soando'. One post says the owner serves on the Wando hometown association.

A Namdo-style (southwestern Korean) set-meal restaurant on basement level 1 of the The Live Sejong Tower, close to exit 3 of Seongsu station. Lunch centres on grilled dried croaker or braised beef ribs with abalone, each served with pot rice and a dozen or so side dishes. On 2025 menus these cost 33,000 and 35,000 won, and courses run from 70,000 to 120,000 won. There are tables in the middle of the hall and many private rooms around the walls, so most posts describe work lunches, family introductions or meals with parents. We read 15 posts dated 17 November 2024 to 30 November 2025. Eight of them record an actual meal. The other seven are TV recaps written right after the June 2025 broadcast of I Live Alone, carrying only screenshots and copied listing info.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The private rooms are the core of this place: six of the eight visit posts mention them. A pair who walked in without booking were shown to a room (December 2024), while a party in November 2025 found every room booked and sat at a hall table. A couple meeting parents for the first time noted that the room next door was hosting a formal family meeting between in-laws.
- Three posts say they booked ahead. One group walked in at lunch just before the September 2025 holiday. Most tables were reserved, so they were seated only on condition that they finish by 12:30.
- Three posts call the portions large and one calls them small. One diner was too full to finish, and another felt fit to burst. The November 2025 post, by contrast, said there was not much croaker and the meal felt light.
- Two posts say the staff were kind. In one, a server saw the diner struggling with the fish, put on plastic gloves and deboned it for them. The other was a hometown-association dinner hosted by the owner himself, so it should be weighed separately.
1 more
- Four posts were group outings (work lunches, a lunch gathering, a hometown-association dinner) and two were family meals (meeting a partner's parents, a dinner arranged by a son).

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post says anything about steps, wheelchairs or strollers. Three posts note that the restaurant is on basement level 1, and one describes walking down an outside staircase to reach it. We do not know whether there is a lift. That means no one wrote about it, not that there isn't one.
We cannot say whether the toilet is inside the restaurant. One visit post says there are toilets both inside and outside, separated by gender. The copied listing blocks contradict each other too: one says inside, another says outside.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have gone up. A December 2024 post paid 30,000 won for the croaker lunch and 33,000 won for the ribs, and called it good value. From June 2025 the same dishes are listed at 33,000 and 35,000 won, and two later posts (September and November 2025) called the place on the pricey side. The Soando course went from 65,000 to 70,000 won. Check the date when comparing what a meal costs.
- Posts split one to one on seasoning. One found the croaker not salty, while another stayed thirsty all day and found most side dishes oily. The ribs split two to two between tough and tender.
- No post describes queuing. Of the two walk-ins, one went straight into a room and the other was seated on condition of leaving by 12:30. Whether it got busier after the broadcast, we don't know.
- Two visit posts say it is close to exit 3 of Seongsu station. The 'one minute on foot' and '130 m' figures are copied listing info. Nobody describes getting there by bus.
- Five visit posts give the same opening hours: Monday to Saturday 11:00-22:00, break 15:00-17:00, closed Sundays. All five copied these from listings, though, and none confirms them from a visit.
- The phone number 02-461-7773 appears unchanged in more than ten posts. One post found every room booked, so if you want a room, reserve by phone.
- Seven posts from 21 June to 1 July 2025 follow one template of TV recaps. Phrases like 'Ahn Jae-hyun's regular spot', 'Wando abalone' and 'prepared fresh daily' come from the broadcast or the restaurant's own description, so we did not count them. One August 2025 post was written by a guest invited to a meal the owner hosted.
