Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

The Seongsu branch of a salt-grilled pork chain, at 97 Achasan-ro right by Seongsu Station exit 1. Each table has a wide stone slab where a platter of pork belly, jowl and loin cap is grilled with kimchi, whole garlic and potato, and the meal ends with jjapagetti or fried rice cooked on the same slab. The one post that gives prices lists the platter at 38,000 won and an extra jowl portion at 16,000 won. We read 24 posts dated 15 September to 4 October 2026; 15 were about other branches (Wangsimni, Jeongja, Bangi and more) and were set aside. Of the 9 about this branch, 6 record an actual meal.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Expect to wait in the evening. Three posts say they queued, for about 20 minutes, about 30 minutes, and 30 to 40 minutes. One pair arriving around 7 pm on a Friday found eight parties ahead, with the board showing ten parties and a 55-minute estimate by the time they went in; another found themselves seventh in line before 6 pm on a weekday.
  2. Accounts differ on who does the grilling. Two posts say staff laid the meat on the slab and cut and cooked it for them; one says staff only put it down and they grilled it themselves. All three agree staff start by spreading kimchi on the slab.
  3. Three posts mention the staff: one was handed aprons and told where the restroom was as soon as they sat down; a party of seven was told their jjapagetti order was too much for the slab and to scale it back; another says staff told them when the meat was ready and checked whether they needed anything.
  4. It is close to the station: three posts say it is visible as soon as you come out of Seongsu Station, by exit 1.

It is close to the station: three posts say it is visible as soon as you come out of Seongsu Station, by exit 1.

Getting inside

No post describes from experience which floor the restaurant is on or whether there are stairs; only the address says ground floor.

No one mentions a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that it's a problem.

We don't know whether the restroom is inside or whether it is separated by gender; one post says staff pointed out where it was, without saying where.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 9 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Reservations are uncertain. One party of seven phoned ahead for a Saturday dinner and was told there are no phone bookings, only the on-site queue; they themselves weren't sure whether that is always the rule or just that day. They were seated at a six-person table with one extra person squeezed onto the corner. The phone number 0507-1487-9021 appears in two posts, copied from listing info.
  • Two posts give opening hours of noon to midnight daily, last order 11 pm, but both copied this from listing info, so we don't rely on it. No post mentions a closing day or a mid-day break.
  • Only one post gives prices (platter 38,000 won, jowl 16,000 won, rice-cake wraps 4,000 won), and another says an extra bowl of acorn-jelly soup is 4,000 won. No Seongsu post prices the jjapagetti or fried rice, and although parties of two or three commonly added an extra portion and a noodle or rice dish to the platter, nobody gives a total for a meal.
  • One post repeats that Jensen Huang visited this branch, but only as hearsay; two posts about other branches say the venue changed and he never ate here, so we don't count it.
  • Who people came with doesn't add up to a pattern: one post was a group of seven, one a pair, and the rest don't say.
