Cafe

Le.mo

레모 Lemo Le.mo is a play on 'lemon' — the café builds almost its whole menu around lemons; until spring 2026 it was called So Lemon (쏘레몬).

Compiled from 5 blog posts read in fullSources →

Le.mo is a lemon-themed dessert café on the ground floor of 79 Dongil-ro, Seongdong-gu, between Konkuk Univ. and Seongsu stations, across from the lamb-skewer street. Nearly everything has lemon in it: real lemonade, lemon coffee, lemon-cream einspänner, lemon sorbet. Two posts gave prices: lemonade and brownie at 8,000 won each, honey cake at 7,000 won, two iced lemon coffees for 12,000 won. A May 2026 post says it was renamed from So Lemon. We read 7 posts from January to October 2026: 5 visits, 1 discount promo written by the book café next door, and 1 we set aside as not about this café.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four of the five visits mention the floor-to-ceiling glass. One describes a big lemon mural painted inside the window, so window seats look out on the street through it; one adds that the high ceiling makes the room feel open.
  2. Two posts mention outdoor seating. One describes a garden-like space with camping tables and a tent, and sat out there with a dog. That is the only first-hand account of bringing a pet; the 'pets allowed' lines in two other posts are copied listings.
  3. Two posts said the lemon items are not sweet: the lemonade lacks the sticky sweetness of lemon syrup, and the honey cake is not overly sweet. Another post likewise found the sorbet and lemonade unsweet, with only the gelato sweet.
  4. One post found it expensive: the lemonade was smaller than a chain-café cup at more than twice the price, and the writer would not buy it again. That writer paid 6,400 won after a 20% takeout discount for showing a booking at the Ipary book café next door.

Getting inside

Step at the entranceyes 0 · no 1 (of 5 posts read)
Step-free access1 of 5 posts

The address says ground floor, but no visitor wrote about the floor level. That means nobody mentioned it, not that there is an issue.

One post described the entrance: no step at the door, easy for strollers and wheelchairs. No other post mentioned it.

No one described the toilet's location first-hand. One post says they were told it is outside, up the stairs to the left; another only copies 'building toilet'. One post said the toilet was clean.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 6 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • This is a rename, not a move: one May 2026 post says the café changed its name from So Lemon. We read no posts written under the old name.
  • Opening hours have changed. Two May 2026 posts list Tue–Sun 11:00–20:00; two July posts list 12:00–21:00 (last order 20:30), closed Mondays. An October post lists every day 12:00–21:00, so whether the Monday closure still applies is unclear. All of these are copied listings — check before going.
  • No post mentions waiting. One said it was quiet with plenty of seats, another that it got busier as they left; nobody described a queue.
  • One post described walking in, saying you can come from either Seongsu or Konkuk Univ. station and browse on the way. Distances like '10 minutes from exit 6' are copied listings.
  • We can't say who people come with: one visit was with a dog and a few seem to be solo work-or-rest stops, but no post says it was with friends, family or a partner.
  • Only one post gives a phone number (010-6610-0413), and none says whether the café takes reservations.
