PIZZA SLICE SEOUL
피자 슬라이스 서울 Pija Seullaiseu Seoul The name is plain English for what the shop sells: New York-style pizza by the slice. Several posts say the brand started in Tokyo.

A by-the-slice pizza shop in the basement of the thisisneverthat building at 159 Achasan-ro, Seongsu. You pick a slice from the display case, they reheat it in the oven, you collect it when your number is called and bus your own tray afterwards. Slices run from 6,200 won (cheese) to 7,800 won (meatball, white Hawaiian); the daily slice cost 8,000 won on the days people went. Garlic knots are 3,000 won, fries 4,000, and there is beer and cocktails. We read 30 posts from 1 September to 6 October 2026; 20 were about this shop and 19 were actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Because you eat with your hands, there is a dedicated hand-washing sink in the dining room. Eleven posts mention it; one notes a sign reading HAND WASH ONLY, and several say it sits next to the tray return and recycling bins.
- The kitchen is fully open. Ten posts say so, and three describe watching staff stretch out the very large dough, around opening time or toward evening.
- Slices are large: ten posts say so. On how many to order, posts split between one being enough and two for a hungry diner; one post found the crust thin enough that two people could have shared three.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

It is underground but not dark. Fourteen posts describe going down stairs or an elevator to B1, and eight say sunlight comes in through a full-height window; three mention a bamboo garden outside it, and one says it felt like a ground-floor shop. One post warns the entrance is easy to miss.
No post describes actually entering with a wheelchair or stroller. Four mention an elevator down to B1, and one says a stroller could come down that way, without having tried it. Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance — we don't know either way.
Several posts say the toilets are clean, but where they are is unclear: one says inside, one says down the corridor opposite the café, and one describes the women's room. The 'separate men's and women's toilets' line in several posts is copied from listing info and not counted.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Four posts call the staff friendly; one describes them as simply indifferent, in a deliberately casual way. A line in another post about others praising the service is second-hand and not counted.
- Opinions on price split: four posts call it reasonable or good value, one says it is expensive for a single slice, and two say it is not cheap but fair for Seongsu or for the size. A meal of one or two slices plus a drink came to roughly 10,000–20,000 won.
- Four posts give walking times: 9 and 5 minutes from Seongsu Station exit 2, 8 minutes from Konkuk Univ. Station, or straight along the main road from exit 2. The '430 m from exit 2' line is copied listing info. No one mentions a bus.
- No post reports waiting. Two walked straight in, and two went at quiet weekday times (2 pm, 4:30 pm). Nobody says whether there is a line at weekend mealtimes. Two posts note waiting stools or a waiting area by the entrance.
- Company splits three ways: four went as a couple, three with friends, three alone. Several posts mention one- and two-person tables and bar seating suited to solo diners. Nobody went with children, though four saw high chairs.
- Fifteen posts give the same hours — daily 11:00–20:00, last order 19:30 — mostly copied from the Naver listing; two add there is no break time and one that it never closes. Four posts list the phone number 010-8174-9050. Two say custom-lettered pizzas can be ordered via Naver booking, but none says whether tables can be reserved.
- Eleven of the 20 posts about this shop repeat the same three search phrases in titles and hashtags and copy the same amenities line — they look like commissioned posts, though only one discloses sponsorship. The same-named branch on the 4th floor of Musinsa Megastore (104 Achasan-ro) is a different location and is not counted here.
