HORNO

오르노 성수점 Oreuno Seongsu-jeom Horno is the Spanish word for an oven.

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

A wood-fired pizza, pasta and paella restaurant on the ground floor of the Base Seongsu building on Ttukseom-ro 17ga-gil, a 5–9 minute walk from Seongsu Station exit 3. One post says it opened in August 2026. We read 30 posts from September 17 to October 5, 2026; six were about other Horno branches (Magok, Mokdong, Seoul Station, Mapo, Sinyongsan) and were set aside. Of the 24 posts about this branch, 23 describe an actual meal. The most-ordered dish was the autumn fig and Emmental pizza (35,500 won), eaten in 13 posts, usually with the fig burrata (28,500 won) and a pane served on pizza dough (29,500 won). Nine posts note that you order by scanning a QR code at the table.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Thirteen posts describe the long open kitchen with a large wood-fired oven, and several say you can watch the chefs baking dough from your table.
  2. Twelve posts call the room spacious and nine mention the high ceiling. They note wide gaps between tables, partitioned sofa booths toward the back, and sofa tables for around six.
  3. Six posts booked ahead through Naver or Catch Table. Two of them say Naver bookings required a 50,000-won seat deposit up front.
  4. Seven posts mention a receipt-review event that earns a free drink — a cocktail, a Coke Zero or a canned soda.
4 more
  1. Eight posts found the fig dishes sweet; one disagreed, saying the figs were not very sweet that day.
  2. Four posts mention outdoor seating outside the building; one adds that with the doors open, sitting inside felt like sitting out.
  3. Ten posts mention wine: a dedicated wine fridge, big-bowled glasses, and dry wines by the glass that paired well with the fig pizza.
  4. Seven posts say it is walkable from Seongsu Station exit 3, noting 5, 5, 7, 8, 8 and 9 minutes. Several add that being off the main Seongsu strip keeps it calmer.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 23 posts read)
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read)
Separate restrooms1 of 23 posts

Two posts describe walking in at ground level; one notes there is an entrance at the front of the building and another along the side.

We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether wheelchairs and strollers get in easily — nobody wrote about it. One post only mentions seeing a guest with a dog stroller inside.

Only one post mentions the toilets: separate men's and women's rooms in the building's ground-floor corridor, outside the restaurant, with a code you get from the table QR.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • One post waited — 15 minutes as walk-ins. Two posts found it nearly empty (a Wednesday at 8 p.m., a weekday at 5 p.m.). Talk of weekend queues is only guesswork or repeated advice.
  • Who people came with: a partner or spouse in 6 posts, friends in 4, family in 3, a work team in 2.
  • Three posts call it expensive, one says the prices were no burden, and three land in between ('pricey, but you can see the ingredients'). Meal totals we have: 57,000 won for one pizza and one pasta for two, 101,500 won for three dishes and two sodas, and about 30,000 won a head. The Peroni draft is 9,000 won in one post and 9,500 won on a transcribed menu.
  • The 90-minute seating limit appears only in copied store notices; no post about this branch says they were hurried out.
  • All 14 posts that give opening hours say 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, but most copy it from map or Instagram listings. No post mentions a break time, last order or closing day.
  • Four posts list the phone number 02-6733-8626. Bookings in the posts were all made through Naver or Catch Table; nobody describes phoning ahead.
  • Several posts from September 30 to October 3, 2026 order the same set — fig pizza, fig burrata, pane and ades — and copy the menu's ingredient lists in the same order. Only one discloses sponsorship, but they may be a promotional batch, so read the praise with that in mind.
